Veteran Graven Deep's "Lasers" and shadow realm

So I had a rough time tanking with that final boss and my matchmade group. I realize part of this event and doing it on release may be, in part, more playtesting.

We did wind up replacing a DPS who had to leave and did it in a couple attempts after that, but before that we had maybe 20 attempts or more.

I really got to exploring the lasers that are interactable after you get the 2nd optional boss and defeat it. I found the final boss would rarely fall within the hitbox (and the second boss, as well, if i'm being honest), I still don't know if I ever managed to damage him with the lasers one time or if the dps was just on point to burn him to 75%- which is fine i guess as he's a flying lich who does aerial acrobatics on top of everything, but more than that I wound up relying on the laser to kill the flesh colossus- which DOES melt once he was inside the beam (attempted this like 10 of the times i got it to spawn, but only 4 times did it melt the collossus to near-death). It took many attempts, however, and I came up with some suggestions to improve this the quality of this fight:
  1. i felt that the hibox needs to be adjusted just a little bit, maybe add more rows of lasers to make it high enough to reach the boss?
  2. we need some sizzling sound on the collossus and/or dialogue or stun on the boss to know it's working.
  3. have the flesh collossus and boss get a certain % of hp damage chunked or snare/stun them if they fall within the lasers, rather than the lasers actually killing them right away if they hit the sweet spot

I believe it only took one laser to mostly kill the collossus, which is awesome but a bit cheesy if you ask me

I think what makes the flesh collossus even more difficult is that you can't really roll out of his hits, he hits hard, and the speed at which he runs while you are getting hammered on by the boss and having to roll out of that cleave + position so the shades don't wipe the group with later cleaves is just nuts.

Also when we get shadow-realmed at 50% i feel like it's better if the entire group, or at least in groups of two, get into the same shadow realm with you and you have to ration which person gets to get the ghosts, and hp regen/healing is disabled. I don't know if there is a lore reason behind sending each person to their own realm but i feel the encounter can be vastly improved if this was the case. This would be a nice touch to increase the difficulty, because honestly I don't know if people were afk or bugged in werewolf mode as i saw their hp ticking down to 0 during that part.

    A quick update to this, I've run it again and noticed the mechanic at play with the "huge" collossus. Subtle and very easy to miss, but great touch.
