Cannot teleport out of prologue

I recently got a second account, but when my new toon on the Isle of Balfiera is trying to teleport to the primary residence of my guild, I get the message “Cannot jump out of this area”. Any way to skip this prologue?

They give you the option when you finished creating your character - that's the only place to skip it as far as I know.

Aha, forgot that, must recreate my toon then…

Finishing prologue is faster if you spend 3 minutes creating the character and speed run it.
You might not the skip option on your first character.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I clicked on create character, and then was sent straight to prologue. No option in character creation to skip it, it seems, but hope I’m wrong. Any other solution?

You have to play that prologue at least once in your account.

Instead of wasting your precious time making a post and thinking about making a new toon, you could have finished the prologue quest lol

And again its faster to do it than trying so skip it, just click trough the dialogues.

By the way, I already played a prologue with my first toon on this account.

If it's not giving you the option to skip it, then you'll have to play through it once to unlock the ability to skip it for subsequent characters.

It’s not about the time it takes to run through the prologue, but whether I must do it for each new toon on this account.

On my old account I remember it was a skip option when creating a new toon.

Yes. But those come after doing it once. So you need to do it once. Do this tutorial one time and later characters should be able to skip it.

As already mentioned, I have already done one prologue, with my first toon on my second account. But still no skip option when trying to create new toons now.

Was it this prologue? The Balfiera one? Because that post sounded to me like it was in reference to one of the ones that have since been discontinued.

Okay, the second account was actually created in 2019 and I played through a prologue then, but only now that I’m using this account for real, so guess the old prologue in 2019 has been discontinued then and I must do the Balfiera prologue.
