Can't dismiss error dialog, have to kill the game

So twice now recently, using dungeon finder, when I land in the dungeon, there is an error dialog box that I can't dismiss and I have to kill the game from task manager.
The game thinks a certain button or key will dismiss it but it won't. I can't get focus on it to use the X to close the box either. Anyone else seeing this? thnx.

✭✭If you wait about 25-30 seconds, it will go away. Our group was plagued with this yesterday. Gotta love updates. One step forward, two steps back!1 -

✭✭✭✭sounds like what happens if an addon needs updating.
you should be able to lock onto it if you hit your Enter key, which pulls up Chat box.

NoxPerpetuo✭✭We are seeing this error on console while using dungeon finder, too. Can't dismiss it. So far, shutting down the whole game is the only way we've discovered to resolve it. Can't just press 'X' like the error box suggests. I am going to suggest we try waiting 30 seconds next time it happens to someone in group. Things work differently on consoles, obviously, but it would still be faster to wait 30 than relog, if it works!0 -

It's on console as well. So it's not necessarily a problem that is caused by addons.1 -

As irritating as it is, you can still move around and stick with your group until the interface disappears and then you're all set. It happened to at least one person in my group each dungeon last night.1 -
Memory_In_Motion✭✭✭✭I am getting this error on pc also as i play in gamepad mode. I have the benefit of a mouse and alt-tab so i alt-tab out and back in to get the mouse and click the X in the upper righthand corner. Normally errors caused by addons can be closed with the A button but not the ones i get entering a dungeon. I think the error is with gamepad mode specifically wether on pc or console.1

I am also in gamepad (using automatic setting) on PC, will try alt-tab next time .. otherwise I guess wait 30 seconds .. hittign enter didn't give the dialog box focus for me as someone else suggested ..

M0ntie✭✭✭✭✭It’s not add ons. I get the error on PC NA using a controller to. There is another bug thread in this. The code mentioned in the error is standard code. U can press x heaps of times, which didn’t work one time for me, or on PC I did control alt delete to get control of my cursor and then clicked the x in the top right hand corner of the error.
I think it happens after using dungeon finder and then every time you change zones.
Needs a hot fix ASAP.0 -
