Dungeon Finder Broken- Undaunted Event

I’ve run three DLC dungeons since the event went live where the “tank” dropped group immediately, yet by the end of the dungeon we never backfilled the role. I think it’s fair to assume you can’t have both a fake tank problem and a lack of tanks in queue during the dungeon event, so is something broken @ZOS_GinaBruno?

Can others post about their experience on this thread too. For the love of god, let’s keep it civil though.

Replacement of any role takes forever and has been this way for a long time.

I was very happy to find that just doing opening quest gotten in the store was enuf to complete the endeavor so I did not have to go into a dungeon.

As far as I remember, it has been like this at least a year. Sometimes you'll get someone to drop in right before the last boss (lucky them lol). But really, were we really expecting things to get fixed for an event?

ZOS once said they would not require the activity finder for an event until the activity finder was fixed.

Events have not required the activity finder since. Unfortunately I think this will probably be the status quo going forward.

I can appreciate that sentiment on their part, but I think it’s worth some renewed attention for the group finder functionality for the event where 95% of the event activity is dungeons.

What I'm saying is that the impression their words and actions have given me is that this is the best they can do and that they do not require the activity finder for events now because they are aware of these issues, which are especially prominent under load, and do not necessarily have a plan or a timeframe for fixing them.
