✭✭✭✭✭Sweet, thanks! I bought one to give to my older brother who will then give it to our nephew because he promised to get him one YEARS ago! I won't be using it, last console I bought was the PS3 and a switch I hardly ever touch. Steam sales and Humble Bundles are so much better if you're not concerned about getting a game at release.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭The PS5 is pretty sweet. The controllers are super slick but they get dirty fast. So far a can of compressed air has kept me from having to disassemble and clean one already.

✭✭My daughter managed to get one for me about the same time, also from the playstation store. We just installed it last night. It's faster, and that's great. Not sure I love the new controller though... It's heavier and instead of a rumble it's sort of a pathic bizz bizz when I harvest nodes ect. Maybe there is some setting I need to tweak...

Sometimes if I fast travel in the same zone and blink, I don’t notice that I actually moved, it’s that fast!

✭✭Congrats! The change in loading times was massive to me - I've only seen two unusually long load times since I got my launch PS5, and both of those were in the last month. (I assume if I'd been playing more I would have been seeing more, but I do wonder what changed in the last month to make that happen - and neither were during an event.)0 -

I was surprised to find that even the character load times are fast, just a few seconds. You hardly have to time to listen to the music before you’re in the game.

SpiritofESO✭✭✭✭Just wanted to update this report after playing ESO with the PS5 for just over a week.
>>> A note on the controllers: slightly larger (feels good), slightly heavier (if they're heavy they're expensive ), D-Pad and Buttons now cover the symbols with clear plastic so as not to wear off, and, finally, the Create and Options buttons are slightly raised. That's important since using the Options button in the game happens frequently. On my PS4 controller I put a eyeglasses nose-piece pad cut-to-size over the Options button so I could feel it without looking. Now, on PS5, you can feel the difference. <<<
I am amazed at how smooth the game runs. I remember with the old PS4 galloping up to the Elden Root Undaunted Enclave and waiting -- what -- half a minute for everything to download. (When I finally heard the Bard music I need everything had downloaded ) Now I have "gallop-tested" approaching the Undaunted Enclave multiple times and it is ALL downloaded in the distance as I approach. The PS5 has HORSEPOWER like a finely tuned racing machine!
I have only been Stuck in Combat ONCE in Cyrodiil (clear it by quickly entering Imperial City -- yes, even when stuck in combat -- and back to Cyrodiil again, but is not helpful in Gray Host due to queue times).
By the way, this would be a good time to upgrade to the 2.1 HMDI connection cable which I have now (From Amazon a top quality 6 1/2 foot cable only $15) because it will give you 8K coverage when it comes time to replace your 4K HDTV. (I gave my old 2.0 HDMI to the friend who I gave my old PS4 to so he doesn't have to buy one and so he can play racing games and watch DVD movies.)
Anecdote: So I was at the Wayshrine in High Isle at Gonfalon Bay and click to go to Trappers Peak. I click and "nothing happens" and I am still standing at a Wayshrine. I suddenly realize there was NO DOWNLOAD and I was "in a flash" standing at Trappers Peak. Whoa! PS5!

After 3 years of saving I just got a new custom made pc. The guy that built it for me said it was like a rocket 🚀 if I start it up it takes off
But wow going from long load screens to just stepping in a wayshrine and your already somewhere else. Plus the graphics
