So, what happened? I was doing my daily stuffs and then suddenly kicked in the middle of it. Server hamsters not fed well enough and are on strikes now?

They had to bring the servers down due to an exploit.

It appears they were just taken down for unscheduled maintenance. There's a post up about it.
