Damage type from meatbag catapult

nebukatzeeb17_ESO
Hi,
what kind of damage does a meatbag catapult do?
Is the DoT poison damage oder a healing debuff?
Does the "pure" impact do normal damage?
Has anyone the exact damage values?

Could only find some hearsay on the net.

I would like to know this too. I bought one because it sounded cool. I fired on people and walls but i didn't notice anything. On players there was no change on their healthbars. On the wall i don't know because there where 10 or more others firing.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I haven't noticed any damage from them so I assumed it launched meat pies at the enemy because they must be hungry and we're nice like that.

During a siege i (defender) fired some meatbags at a large fighting group and got about 15 Kills. There has to be some effect. Except feeding hungry enemies ;-)

From what I have observed, the catapults do crap damage but have some interesting debuffs. The meatbag catapult appears to reduce health regen and incoming heals. Oil snares. Scattershot does nothing of note other than puny damage.

I think it might have a lingering AOE rather than just an impact zone. I'm not sure I've had them fire on me but someone suggested using them on siege operators since they can't move. It won't kill too many people but it will clear them off the siege engines (or they will die). It does seem to work as someone suggested. They either clear out or die.
It's a quick way to get those enemy engines to stop firing for a while if what I think I'm seeing is correct.

99% sure it is Disease AOE - my main has a very high disease resist thanks to gear and Meatbag Catapults don't really affect him at all.
The only negative experience in ESO is those that make it negative.
