Things i would like to see in ESO

Remove any kind animation canceling, that is mandatory for DPS.

    Players do not really do animation canceling in current days.

    The same time why some thing that already was in game for a lot of time have to be removed ?

    I ask not because I really care about "animation canceling". I ask because only 1 reason - that I do not like when some thing that was in game change.

    I think, that players who go play some games see on start what it has. And base their choise on it.

    I do not feel that it is fair to change balance in game after some time. It takes time to level your character, you know what you chose when you chose it. Why it have to be changed ?

    Light attacks also count as animation canceling. Nobody would use LA, if you have wait for the whole animation of LA.

    This animation canceling is a mechanic, the game is balanced around and this whole mechanic is a mystery for new players.

    What kind of animation cancelling are you talking about? Light weaving, bash waving, or bar swap canceling? I'm gonna go out on a limb and presume that's its light weaving. The thing is if that went you'd have a lot of upset players because they base their whole identity around the fact that they worked hard to perfect their light weaving. Any attempt to remove that and by extension the advantage that their work gives them over players who didn't put in the work will not be received positively. And they're no real guarantee that that would raise the average player's dps if light weaving disappeared. For example pre U35 there were many people flexing parses that were at or close to 100k without a single LA made. So when someone says that animation cancelling and light attacks prevent them from doing high dps more often than not that's not true.

    I don't think you fully understand what you are asking for OP since animation canceling is a highly beneficial thing for all players even if you don't know that you are doing it. Do you want to have to finish whatever action you started without the option to cancel it and roll dodge when the boss suddenly turns and cleaves in your direction? I ask because that would be an unintended side effect of your original post which would cause you to die far more often in all ESO content.

    If you're just talking about light attack weaving 1. it's really easy if you give it the bare minimum of practice 2. why? 3. how does ZoS remove animation canceling from LA weaving but not affect what I described in my first paragraph?

    It counts like that by some category of players. I do not think that it is animation canselling. You do not really cancel any thing. Animation have time - about may be 0.2 seconds - better ask for about how it is in their project documentation for that.

    You do not cansel it, you can see that animation part. That animation looks different if you press skill - than it looks after light attack = player returns to some position it was before is computer animation problem. You animate skeleton movment and you can not animate it other way if it do not work like some combo attack. So it looks a little different.

    Why it is a problem for some people ?

    The same time when you do snipe and its skill fly to the enemy and you press another skill - why is not it animation canselling for you ? First animation do not full played too ? What is different ?

    It was in game from its start ? Yes. Why it have to be removed ?

    The same time game really has animation canceling. When you fully cancel one animation with another. When you do LA/MA than skill and than block+bash -> you only see animation of LA and bash.

    Animation of skill is fully canceled. And it strikes faster than it must - so this thing really was abused by some players in PVP.

    But players do not use it for DPS now. A lot of players even do not know about this, because it is harder to do. You may be even can put MA+skill+2 bash attacks before next skill. But will you press 4-5 times more buttons to make 2-3 k more DPS ? If different will be 100 k and 103 k as example ?

    It is reasonable question, if MA and 2 bash are harder to do, than 1 LA between skills - why do LA do so much damage ?

    But the answer is simple - a lot of blogers ask for that to make some content on it. They need some thing to look special for new players. It do not look fair and I do not like such contengent of people, but this mechanick was from start of the game.

    And OK - if it is not really to important for players to do it, why not ? But than thingth than are harder have to do a little more damage. MA is harder, la+bash is harder, ma+bash is the most hard to do.
    But it must not be some thing nesesary to do. If you want - do HA or MA, if you want do LA, if you want do only skill. Damage difference must not be to big.

    I am OK with this position. But what is a reason to delete some thing, that already exist in game ?
