I suspect that the Ancient Elf style gives weapons a look that is close to what we are used to with the glass weapons, based on a certain npc's GS, but don't quote me on that. I only saw the GS, and it might be an unique look.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
Meet my characters:
Command: Do the thing.
Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded. Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way. Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing. Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe. Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources. Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources". Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me. Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear. Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem. Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
Well it would be cool to see a nice light, medium, and heavy variant for glass, stalhrim, and amber armor and weapon types. They could make the stalhrim armor ancient Skaal motif, the glass could be Buoyant Armigers motif, and amber could be Dumag gro-Bonk's Motiff. Just a thought but lore wise I believe that all fits together its just a matter of making the time lines fit together to not destroy any lore. I know Dumag gro-bonk is the only one who could create amber armor but to make it fit in our timeline they could make it so its learned from an ancestor of his. any thoughts?
There is a set that looks like dragon bone, I've had the boots and pauldrons, don't remember the name, it's drop armor. I would love to see player crafted.

Glass should be instead of fell hide.
Because heavy armour gets ebony, light armour gets ebonplant but woodworkers get ordinary yew and clothiers get animal skin. But it should be minable unlike all other medium mats.

You may be speaking of the Bosmer hvy armor pieces. They have a scale look to them and bone/skull type paudrons. That is the armor I use because it looks closest (still far off but closer then the other styles heh) to the Dragon plate armor from Skyrim I loved so much. Couple the Bosmer hvy armor with a Primal hvy helmet and primal belt and I'm a happy Dunmer
