Hello,
So as the title states, since there is talk of updates to the game's engine for the purposes of improving server performance I would like to suggest updates to character creation and appearance with new options to better modify how you represent yourself.
One good start would be a decent body hair slider with some adequate starter options.
Thoughts and counter-suggestions welcome.

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

But cats do have different fur lengths, so why not? I think the problem would be how it would be rendered as currently it’s a skin and longer fur might have to be part of the actual model to look right if even possible, Idk.
As for “if it’s not broke,” I’m certainly never for ZOS removing current options for our characters, “fixing” what isn’t broke, but new options are great for people who like them and those who don’t can continue using what they have before.

It's odd seing my Dunmer (young-looking, slender, picky in terms of clothes, hair and facepaint/makeup - he's quite vain, actually) with that much chest hair at all. Also:

✭More options for physical characteristics would be nice. And i also dont like how body specific dimensions are available sometimes to only one race. Golden example would be orcs, they can be the most muscular/fat of all the races. And why is the fat option not really big at all🤷🏻♂️2 -
