Keep in mind it's on the sea floor underneath the ocean. That you can breathe underwater doesn't matter there. The comoression and pressure from just being that deep underwater should kill anyone, including Argonians. Consider that bubble protecting you from this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ2z_AWUBlkI would recommend GW2 for underwater fun...Underwater swimming will never exist in this game unless they completely redo the physics and get better servers hahahahaaaa and if Zenimax wanted to take the time, effort, and money to do that they would've done so back when the game was still in testing. I mean, I would just be happy if they at least made it so I didn't get dismounted in like 2 inches of water.... but even that is probably asking for too much. Oh, and fun fact I like to always remind people of; this is also why we don't have capes in ESO. They attempted them back during the original beta, realized they were causing major issues and decided to just scrap them. 10/10 game design.
On another note, I would recommend GW2 for underwater fun. They have a whole combat system specifically for it with different weapons and abilities. They even added personal boats with their newest expansion that you can sail around on.

Underwater fights were a thing back in the early 2000s in DAoC and it was awful. People are underestimating the effects of a third dimension in terms of orientation and awareness. I'm not even touching the game mechanics like AOE's etc.
It is one of those things that sound nice on paper but is actually more of an annoyance than an enhancement of game play.

Well, new dungeon environment design is great. But, just those "bubble" is not thing
which I expected. Basically, there're not much race benefit in the ESO.

Agree to disagree haha I love GW2's underwater combat. AOE's work since they are set to just lock to a target rather than a clickable area and the weapons specifically for the water combat make sense (harpoons, spear guns, etc). Oh, and there's rebreathers so you don't have to worry about drowning. I do think what you described does apply to WoW's underwater combat slightly, but not so bad that I would prefer them not to have it. It allows for a lot of interesting zones and good use of the map. And some people just like the idea of the mysteries beneath the sea so denying players access to it in this day and age of RPGs is just quite bizarre. Unless it's a game like RuneScape or Albion Online.... don't think going underwater would ever work with that kind of set up haha

Well vampires are in a way a mortal. At least in the sense you're not daedra, spirit or such, but a mortal who got a disease that made them immortal. Which technically includes a lich as well, so kinda stupid they'd say it.
