What should I do with them?
I got so many during the PVP event and I am trying to play Tales of tribute but they keep giving me more I am running out of inventory space.
I would give them to you if I could.

There is a transmute stone refund on that... I think1 -

✭✭If you've collected an entire item set, you can transmute the lowest level item for 25 transmutes and bank it, when you need transmutes you can deconstruct that item for the full refund.13 -

That's for reconstructed gear alone I think Trait changing existing gear is different from remaking fresh gear.4 -

✭✭If you've collected an entire item set, you can transmute the lowest level item for 25 transmutes and bank it, when you need transmutes you can deconstruct that item for the full refund.
I also don't have bank space, although I might be able to move things once transmute crystals are out of my inventory0 -

CaperGuy✭✭✭What I did was reconstruct a bunch of items that I had fully completed that only cost 25 stones to make and put them in my bank. When it comes later that I need some stones, I can deconstruct these items to get the stones back for use. I’ve also started transmuting some purple jewelry to infused that I’m not yet using but might use in the future at some point.Characters:

Hoghorn✭✭✭when i need nirn mats i make a piece of gear, either weapon or armor, with a cheap trait. then i transmute it to nirnhorned. then i deconstruct it and about half the time i get nirn mats back. iirc this costs 50 transmute crystals.2

✭✭✭✭Transmute weapons to nirnhoned trait and then deconstruct at a normal crafting table, you have a chance to get a potent nirn.
With all the right passives and meticulous disassembly cp perk it's rare that I don't get one, I do it often, it uses 50 transmutes per time so immediately solves any storage issues.
As mentioned above jewelry is not worth doing as it only gives one grain of the trait material. When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"

To avoid something like that reconstruct monster set and store it on mule to deconstruct it later when you need it or to waste it for some gold craft weapons in any trait, transmute it to nirnhoned, deconstruct it and sell it as raw material/weapon for research.2 -

I never bothered too much with meta I just got a build that was good enough and stuck with it.
PVE characters are like BSW + Silks of the Sun and Relequins + Bezerking warrior and that's enough damage to do even Vet trials. My tank is Powerful assault and Yolvakin's.0 -

✭If you want to actively get rid of transmutes, then follow the steps above about reconstructing BUT only reconstruct gear that you only have 1 or 2 set pieces for. They might cost 50+ transmutes but you will always only get 25 back from decon. Learned this the hard way.0 -

Don't open the prize boxes containing the transmutes. Just hold them for now. When the new update drops, we'll all be remaking our characters or adjusting our builds, and then you will WANT all those transmutes. I've basically put off doing anything other than storyline and pledges because I just don't see a point trying to perfect a build when an update is going to effectively overturn the whole system.0 -

i started playing this account on july 31st and i have more than 1000 from doing daily dungeons. im cp 320+ and i have 2 at cp level, 9 total. I stopped doing dungeons when they started taking up inventory space. I wish i could store 2k with eso plus. that would be enough i think.0 -

✭✭Thanks for the advice guys. I found some weapons I had lying around (in chests in my house) transmuted them to Nirnhorned and Deconned, got the Nirn out of both.
I don't have plus so my bank and character inventory are filled up with crafting materials despite being maxed.
I picked the coffers out of the mail because I wanted the siege from the boxes and it's the combination of Siege and transmute stones that filled up my inventory and bank.0
