How long an average does it take you to get a replacement for group finder?

Too long. Even just trying to find a DD can take forever, which is a bit ironic.3 -

For a long, long time the dungeon finder has not been able to find a replacement for the role if one or more players leave the group.
Furthermore I can't remember the last time I joined a run 'in progress'.
I don't really know if this is because there is an issue with the dungeon finder itself or simply because there are no players available to fill in the spot.
The reality is either you ask in the guilds if someone can and want to fill in or you will have to do without.Edited by ApoAlaia on August 24, 2022 5:59AM1 -

adamsmith42✭✭✭✭I was absolutely shocked the other day to be pulled into a run that was in the middle of final boss of Coral Aerie the other day... I think they never even noticed I was there, they were remarking on how they three manned it, I would have to assume the DD I was replacing left at the very start... As for having the finder filling a missing spot for a group I was in, I can't think of the last time it's happened, and I run a lot of dungeons, it's not uncommon for someone to drop at start on some of the dlcs; always try fill with a guildie or just go on down a person0

✭✭We ran vCoA2 the other evening. We got the bug and the healer never made it in. After they left, we queued for replacement, then finished (without skipping adds) without a healer.

✭✭@ZOS_Kevin I am begging you for a very long time group finder hasn't been finding replacements. Like sure DPS are in queue but we wait and wait for them over 10 mins.
Please send this off to combat because it hasn't worked since before chapter dropped. I have complained previously and just crickets

✭✭No clue I'm always the one who quit.
My standards aren't particularly high. I don't mind helping weak dps.
Just don't skip trash mobs and let the tank (me) start the boss fights. I'm not too fussed about the later but when you run past the first few mobs to the first boss it's a red flag for me and I usually bounce.
Sadly normal is so easy people learn bad habits/ have no idea of etiquette and leaving is the easiest/ laziest way for me to teach them.1 -
