Dreadsail Reef Endboss drops Nirnhoned weapon with Armor Nirn Trait

When looting the Endboss of Dreadsail Reef, I just received a Perfected Pearlescent Inferno Staff in Nirnhoned which managed to trigger every possible Addon-Stacktrace under the sun.

After some digging I now found what caused all the errors: The Inferno Staff does have the Armor Nirnhoned Trait on it instead of the Weapon Nirnhoned

Not sure if this was introduced with U35 but it looks like a broken loot table.

And just to be sure, the screenshot was taken with all addons disabled so no foul play here.

EDIT: For the curious among us: Yes, you actually get the 244 resistance when you equip the staff

Lately they have been putting illegal enchants on quest rewards, like armor with recovery enchant, jewelry piece with healthy trait and health enchant, heavy set piece in medium weight, dungeon set as overland quest reward. Maybe it is part of this... mm... trend?

the one unique shield that you would get from ICP quest used to have health recovery (jewelry trait) on an armor item (shield), but they fixed that at some point and changed it some other trait

it sounds like its just bugged, but who knows when they will fix it, as far as im aware nirnhoned trait wasnt something that should drop normally anyway

Nirnhoned items are pretty common as a veteran difficulty reward in the latest trials and arenas.

huh, probably never noticed as i didnt normally even do a lot of trials until like within the last year or 2 lol (i really wanted to finally finish collecting the undaunted trophies/busts and then they added the gear collection, and i like collecting lol)
