Wardens now have to use mag cliff racer regardless of their spec, in addition to another spammable; screaming cliff racer provides a weapon damage boost for 10 seconds (which increases with off balance) essentially turning it into a 10second, press this button for more weapon damage; this is even less fun than a dot, and goes against the entire principle of the “increasing durations of things patch” stamden must now use 2 spammables if you want to be competitive, one being your choice of boring weapon skill or fighters guild spammable, the other being boring do nothing but give flat numbers to your stat sheet mag cliff racer; stam cliff racer is so utterly trash now (it used to be so fun to practice when it was safe to set things off balance in my warden ie first two bosses of vKAHM, going out just a second AFTER meteors go off to ranged as to prevent dropping one on a ranged spot getting the quick off balance and getting the proc: this would require you to miss one light attack on bosses without larger hit boxes but this would always be fun and worth doing) Now warden has an insanely boring shulks with disturbingly odd timing differences on the mag shulks vs stam (punishing those who practice one or the other via muscle memory) ALL of this for them to also be the WORST dps by an insane margin; especially in content. I have 300 days almost played on my warden; it is the only class I play outside of pts testing as Iike to always rp as my character; I have several record warden parses on eso logs (High Brat Uptimes); my dummy parse was 126 now it is 109 (consider the dummy was buffed by a lot folks) I parsed over 130k+ pre flight yol fights last patch now I hit like a wet noodle and people make fun of my class now, and say what happened to your dps Lini ETC poking fun at how bad warden is now; sustain is trash, damage is trash, play style is even more trash; I have had no serious complaints with this game until now; I have played a handfull of years now. I have spent thousands on eso for my mount collection and houses and now I am feeling like stepping away or only playing pve where warden got some buffs; but I already play a khajiit because they are cute and in pvp that hurts my build; why not change things like picking a (born under racial) or raised by x race in the character sheet so you can pick whatever race you want no draw backs? That would be an actual casual friendly change; I am rambling at this point but I have no lost one of my favorite hobbies; playing my warden in pve .
