Repeat Dungeon Rewards ( A Topic for Concerned Parties )

I just read The Road Ahead ( The address on the future of the game. ) and noticed that they plan on adding rewards for repeating dungeon runs. Now I think this is great, however I find my self wondering what can they do other then a point system like WoW. While it does not bother me too terribly much, I would rather not see a repeat of that system and instead see something more unique, or at least something that lets gear gained from other methods still be useful ( aka, No Freaking PVE/PVP Stats Please! ).

I have a few ideas that I am going to post here as alternatives to the WoW point system mentioned above and I encourage you to share your opinions on them, as well as your own ideas on alternatives for repeat dungeon rewards.

-1: First, Is one where each dungeon has a special gear set associated with it. With this idea the gear set would have both veteran and non-veteran versions and the their quality would run from Magic ( green ) to legendary ( gold or yellow ) and would either need to meet a certain criteria to obtain ( Such as beating it within a time limit or killing a boss without losing a team member and the like. ) or have the drop rate be really low. Thus you have a reason to come back and grind the dungeon.

-2: This one is a favorite. Instead of having people come back to the same scenario. Have a dungeon delve mode after you complete the Normal and Veteran versions of the dungeon. In which you obtain keys from all kinds of game content such as running the dungeon, to just finding them in chests in the world while exploring, maybe even have special mobs that drop them. Now these keys will unlock doors to hidden rooms in the dungeons which contain puzzle rooms, bosses, and all kinds of goodies ( like the above mentioned rare gear sets  ). I think this one adds a classic feel to the dungeoning.

-3: Add some special crafting mats for later content gear, potions, and glyphs that can only be obtained through veteran dungeons and other veteran content such as pvp and adventure zones. This would also help combat the bot farmers and their like. This one might be a bit on the weaker side but I thought I would throw it in anyway.

-4: This one is simple. Add more dungeon skills, such as the Undaunted; that are more difficult to obtain or takes more then achievements to unlock.

Please comment and let me know how you feel on the topic and ideas. Also remeber this is for you to post your own ideas for an alternative to the WoW system and help keep this game from having PVE/PVP stat gear added.

I honestly just believe that they'll have it both thought out and covered until then.

I hope this wont be a wow system. I am tired of these type of MMO´s where players only do dungeons because it gives the best xp, loot and in game currency.

ZO should stick to their basic idea of ESO and not let them influence by ex wower´s who leave anyways once WOD is released.

The idea´s you have are all so powerful, that it would make dungeons mandatory like with wow and the valor points. :(

So grouping and currency exchange are both bad because they existed in world of warcraft. That's absolutely brilliant...

I'm sorry that WoW chewed you up and spit you out, but I don't think it's necessary to base every design decision around whether or not world of warcraft did something.
