regular dungeon boss spawn

Has anyone else noticed that the bosses are not spawning like they used too?

I was starting a new character in Cryodiil and noticed that they bosses used to be there when I went into a dungeon but now they are not there and I always have to wait for them to spawn.

I at first thought that someone had been there before me but it was happening in all the dungeons. Even when I went into dungeons outside of Cryodiil.

    You mean delves- in eso dungeons are different.

    Since they.... "improved".... the game with account wide achievements it can no longer tell that a character who hasn't been in the delve is going in to the delve for the first time. So you have to sit there for five minutes bored out of your mind waiting for the delve boss to spawn.

    Of course this could easily be fixed by having delve bosses spawn when you come close to their spawn everytime regardless of whether you've killed them before or not. Since theres already a completely seperate cooldown on loot dropping from delve bosses there would be absolutely no player advantage to simply letting them spawn when you approach everytime.

    But they've chosen not to do that for.... reasons... that I'm sure @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_Kevin will explain.

    In my experience the delve (not dungeon) bosses in Cyrodiil have always taken ages to spawn and are never spawned automatically when you don't have the achievement for completing that delve yet and then enter the boss location. I guess this was done to provide more time for players to kill each other while waiting for the bosses to spawn.

    Outside of Cyrodiil this is simply a result of account wide achievements. In ancient times, a delve boss would spawn the moment a character without the delve completion approached the boss location. Now it has to be a player without the delve achievement. So unfortunately the behaviour you observed is what we have to expect, both in Cyrodiil and outside of it.

    Very early in the game (don't know if a change was made or not) one boss wouldn't spawn until the other boss was killed. We would go in as a group and whoever found the boss that was up would let the rest of the group know.

    Cyrodiils been through a few changes. Kargen is correct, that was the case until 2-3 years ago. Delves with multiple bosses in Cyrodiil would only spawn one at a time and which one spawned next was random.

    Now it's just a flat 5 minutes or so on any delve boss you've previously killed on your account.
