People saying you can just block/dodge and walk out must not be playing in main campaign Cyro. How are you going to dodge 5 of them with necro ults and everyone running occult overload? You could have 100k HP and you aren't surviving. Not to mention that the server always thinks I'm 10 feet behind where I am on my screen when it comes to this skill's ground target.

It can be annoying but it can be overcome.

Pvp is always about finding ways to cheat the system - not enough is done to create a level playing field in any MMO you play.
I used to love logging into guild wars and entering observer mode to watch the top pvp matches of that day. A great system.

Most of the time that is true. In the memorial district of Imperial City some have figured out how to place the AoE so that it grabs DC players as soon as they go up the ladder.
I don't mind dark convergence most the time but something needs to happen so a player can't be yanked off a wall by a well placed AoE.
Does get frustrating when a ball group throws out four or five of them in a pattern followed by appropriate ulimates then runs around keeping each other healed while building ultimate again for repeat.
serious question folks - is there any game scenario where you are "okay" with having your toon perish?
i know there are posters here which are also much better players than myself - and - i don't die all that much...
heck, if i'm on a nightblade - i pretty much don't have to die at all...if i'm on a sorcerer, i'm exiting the area fast if things are heading in the wrong direction...on a templar, bubbling up and healing like crazy...dragonknight, i'm timing my potion and ultimate use to make it nearly impossible for any single player to kill me (unless they out sustain me, which happens)...
i could go through the rest of the classes, but, it's just more of the same...yeah, good luck getting through all the stuff the warden has to keep it alive...
i get balance isn't perfect, let's not even talk about the effect of game performance on what's going on out there)...
to be honest - i don't think most of you are posting on the behalf of the poor noobs joining the fray...shoot, give it six months to a year, yeah you will be able to compete a bit too
it's no secret OP gear will be released periodically to propel game sales...
however, these endless battles, get tiring, let's fight, someone wins, move on to the next objective/fight...
