New Maps for PvPs

As a pvper, it's been a couple of years since we've seen any new maps. We for sure have seen all sorts of fancy houses in crown store that fit the developing story of releases, with cool flashy effects and design. Just sayin....all are big enough to be their own bg map. /begging for new map or anything really

✭✭✭✭✭As a fellow PvP'er, I am loving the creativity of this post in luring in players that typically gloss over PvP posts.
And seriously, for the love of Talos can we please get some more development time for PvP. Midyear Mayhem consistently proves that there is a latent appetite for the content out there if the game mode is finally shown some love.6 -

I hate to admit it but a while back Midyear mayhem actually changed my mind about PVP in ESO and now I really enjoy the large battles in Cyrodiil now so I agree with your sentiment.
I think end game content whether PVP or PVE dungeons/trials have a large amount of worry for the general casual player base about not being good enough and it keeps them from trying it. However during Mayhem people understand there are a lot more new people and they are more willing to give it a shot if for nothing more than the tickets.3 -

✭✭I don't think anyones been treated as badly as the housing community this year.
We got an Inn room to decorate. 30 slots. That's it.
Anything else you have to buy with crowns.1 -

I mean they said they weren't going to add any new pvp content until they finished their server re-architecure, so I'm not sure why you think that tricking people who enjoy housing into reading this thread is gonna change that. They literally cannot add anything else without breaking pvp. Be patient until they announce it's done or go play a different game until then, I'm sure they don't expect everyone to wait forever and a day while they implement such a time consuming fix.Edited by spartaxoxo on August 6, 2022 8:34PM2 -
kevkj✭✭✭✭✭It's quite ridiculous that one new Battleground map per expansion is not considered a standard.
Equally ridiculous in my opinion is the lack of any updates to Cyrodiil to reflect the current year's theme. The devs could learn a lot from how Battle Royale games make tiny tweaks to the map every now and then while injecting flavour to match whatever event/expansion is ongoing. Where were the Waking Flame/Ascendant Order themed updates to Cyrodiil? They couldn't even bother to continue updating the campaign names.4 -

Whew, I would hate for them to break pvp........ It's been functioning so well for so long! Yes I agree, more patience, that's been going so well3 -

tonyblack✭✭✭✭✭My first thought when i saw underwater house was what a cool theme for battleground map it would be, but then I remembered that creative things like that only end up in cash shop for exorbitant prices. Oh well, guess “fixing” performance is more important than supporting existing population.0 -

There is a massive appetite for pvp. Some of the most successful games in the world are pvp-only. The only thing stopping ZoS from capitalizing on that market is the top brass deciding they can make money in other ways instead.1 -
