battle scar container drops controversy

So i played a lot of cyro and opened 800+ boon boxes so far and got no battle scar containers at all. Meanwhile i see someone in my group get all 3 back to back from a handful of boxes. I am not kidding he opens 3-4 boxes and gets 3. I can see it with loot spy. We talked about this with my friends and saw that noone got any containers despite opening 500+ each person.

Now that makes me think that there is a hidden modifier for drop rate that he had and we didnt. Actually i am convinced that something fishy going on with the drop rates of these containers. Can ZOS please confirm that drop rates are completely rng and there are no hidden modifiers??

What is your experience with it. All 3 of them back to back in 3-4 boxes vs none at 800 boxes looks SUS

It's kind of weird to get scars as rewards, but in any case I've gotten a grand total of zero (though I haven't earned nearly as many boon boxes as you did). RNGeesus works in mysterious ways.

The drop rate seems to be way too low. Same as the new style pages....I'm suspecting the want for us to buy them with tickets which likely won't be enough so extra needs to be bought.

I farmed totally something like 9 mln AP for Grand Overlord and din't get even one drop for this, so something is bugged or rng is really cruel here.
