CHANGES I WOUL LOVE TO SEE!!!

1.) Please Zos, remove the three factions and just keep it at two. This will balance out the intention of Cyro and not have two factions ganging up on one.
2.) Increase the number of guards or their crit resistance in PVP. Considering that I am a healer, the guards must not be very strong if I can defeat them on my own.
3.) Make the spawn of the hammer more random. People now know exactly where the spawn locations are. Therefore, a faction that already has the upper hand can go use a hammer and completely dominate the other factions.
4.) Make it a little harder to get EMP. I know this means I will likely never achieve it, but for all the bonuses it gives, it seems too easy. Especially when the numbers of each faction aren't balanced.
5.) Eliminate low pop or adjust it. Even though I recognize its purpose, I wish it never existed in PVP in the first place. I believe it causes more harm than good.
6.) Referring to point two, could the guards' presence be increased at night? Many groups will wait until the majority of us are asleep and logged off before capturing the entire map. We put so much effort into our points, only to have it undone when zergs log in after we log out.
7.) Give the hammer the same treatment as the scroll. Make it so you can't use transmute shrines, nor can you use horseback. I think it's only fair.
8.) Could we please have a group voice chat? I don't know if doing that is simple, but it would be extremely helpful. There are way too many discords, so many that I actually detest joining them.
9.) Please make it so you can pick up your camp once you're done with it. That would make it so much easier to keep unused camps.
10. Please. Please? Please? Make use of every part of a keep. Before I learned that you had to hit specific spots on a keep, I wasted a lot of time trying to flag them. I once even got an area of a keep down to 0% and nothing happened. Unless you inquire in the zone, very little information is given on how to play cyro. I don't mind bothering zone with every little question I have, but some people are too shy to ask questions. So instead, they might just end up leaving. I often get whispers of people asking me to do things in my zone because they don't want to. Just an idea!

:) You don't have to agree with any of this. These are just things I've seen in my time here.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Hi. Empty map PvDoor zerging is a big problem during NA daytime off-hours too. I don't know if guard buffs are the best way to address this problem, but it's definitely a problem throughout all time zones.

I still think in regards to "night-capping" the point system should give most of points during main-time hours and off-hours reward less points so pvdooring isn't as effective. Say you earn 50% of the points you normally would in off-hour times.

The point reduction depends on the server that the player plays in. So for NA during night-time for NA points get reduced, same for EU, etc etc

I had an idea about adding random PvP based events randomly throughout the map which would serve to at least make Cyrodiil feel more alive. Some ideas include adding in random missions to disrupt or defend supply caravans on a main road. It would be random which alliance attacks or defends based on the location/keeps held. A north spawn near Dragonclaw would be EP/DC only where as one near Ash would be DC/AD. These could additionally give buffs/debuffs to NPC guards based on the result. A defended caravan could grant extra HP and resistances but failing could result in fewer troops. Additionally, i think would be interesting to see random battles where we have to move and support our alliance's troops. Whether it's them attack a keep or in the middle of the map. Also, maybe allow for keep defense customization? Edit patrols, additional troops, or the area they guard heavily. Also I think NPC manned seige weapons could go a long way, especially for alliances who do not have high populations. Amounts could increase based on lower populations. Like if one population is at 50 while the others are in the 70s, then npc manned seiges could be at 10 or so and be spread out.

Tbh, that sounds like an amazing idea for those who enjoy that. I could totally see that being a quest they give out at one of the towns. It could probably even add some points to the faction so pvers can come to pvp and not have to feel like they can't really contribute.

However, I would probably never do it. I don't really go to cyro for the quests, I just love the pvp because even though it's repetitive, it's very challenging and fun.

I say this as someone who does not have a lot of experience in Cyrodiil but serious time pvping in MMOs. The lack of regular participation in Cyrodiil is compounding so many other underlying problems.

BGs have their purpose. Quick, lots of fun action then move onto the next. Cyrodiil is large scale, faction based combat so make Cyrodiil matter to guilds by promoting teamwork and politics.

    - Claiming one of a three keeps nets you a guild trader for a week. Let that keep be locked out during that period then during a window let players vie for control to claim it.

    - Claiming and holding an objective nets you a percentage of sales from NPC vendors that occur in Cyrodiil. The longer you hold it the greater it is contested the more influence and share you gain. Other factions would work target that objective to reset it.

    - Claiming an objective could unlock vendors that sell cheap, survival focused starter sets of gear for new players who help their guild to success. Yep, I know grinding/crafting gear in ESO is already incredibly easy. This way though guilds could invite and gear people without making a commitment, hopefully becoming more welcoming on people new to the game or PVP.

    - Once an objective is claimed it should be... rebuilding or something and unattackable for a period. New players spend too much time riding around and, as fun as it can be, veteran players play Whack-A-Mole in my opinion. This or a similar change could funnel players together for large scale, meaningful fights instead of PV-dooring undefended objectives.

I'm not picking on you or just being negative. You're suggestions are not the kind of suggestions an experienced PvP player would make, and almost all are redundant and have been discussed many times already.

1- Two factions would not work. This has been discussed many times and clearly explained as to why. There has to be an odd number of factions.
2- PvP isn’t about NPC’s. It’s for actual real life players.
3- This is a valid point. The hammer only seems to spawn at two locations for each faction.
4- EMP is already the hardest thing to do in Cyrodiil, even in the non-main camps.
5- This is a good suggestion. Also discussed many times over already.
6- …….again, PvP is about players, not NPC’s.
7- This is just a bad suggestion. The hammer is on a timer and kills the person wielding it.
8- Group voice chat has been discussed many times in many threads. ZOS has denied the need for it repeatedly.
9- Camps stack in your inventory. They lose HP as they are used, and therefore cannot be picked back up unless you want to eliminate the ability for camps to stack in your inventory. ...Also discussed many times in many threads.
10- No. This is a horrible suggestion. It will add significantly to lag and cause many other issues too many to list.

    1. I've never seen those discussions in this forum, so I brought it up to discuss it. Hence my other posting. Even so, it does not mean I can't disagree with the reasons listed on my other posting.
    2. Tell that to the people who capture the entire map once it's nearly deserted.
    3. Agreed.
4.This post was made before I personally attempted to get Emp, so I concur. I didn't realize just how hard it was.
    5. Again, I have not seen it in this forum so I brought it up.
    6. See number two.
    7. They could adjust the timer.
    8. Doesn't make it a bad idea even if it won't happen. I have like a hundred discords and no idea where they came from.
    9. This can be changed. An older player friend of mine told me camps were previously abled to be picked up. Siege also loses health, but we can pick those up.
    10. I had not considered the lag. Well in that case, they should make the parts that won't flag a keep non siegeable. I don't know if that's a word, but I'm making it one.

I'm sorry, I accused you of being negative. I like this version of replying more, because you're detailing your opinion rather than just saying mine are bad.

Additionally, I did come from PVE so maybe my opinion will change the more I play this game. However, these aren't new things. I've seen them said by other pvpers and I just happen to agree. I'm all for having different opinions, but there is no need to come to every single posting I make and be so negative. Lighten up and smile a little, I'm sure your day will be much better.

You are very clearly very new to PvP in this game. You should play it for a couple/few years and then offer suggestions on what changes should be made.

You are very clearly very new to PvP in this game. You should play it for a couple/few years and then offer suggestions on what changes should be made.

1.) So, in order to offer suggestions or start a discussion, you have to play the game for years? Really, that is ridiculous. Even if they have may been discussed in the past, we are now in 2022. People change, and so do their perspectives. Nothing is wrong with talking about something. Everyone else who has ever responded to one of my posts has actually expressed their opinions in their responses rather than just ignoring my words because I am a new player. Your attempts to make me feel like I am wrong for my suggestions just because I haven't played as long as you is one of the things really wrong with some people in pvp.

2.) You keep telling me that I need to play more before I can offer suggestions, but the suggestions I have made have also come from players who have played much longer than I have. I simply agreed with them, as I had previously stated. Would you say the same thing to them as well?

3.) You seem to have nothing else to add to the topic, in my opinion. But instead of admitting that or saying nothing at all, you're going to say that I'm too much of a newb to understand pvp. That being the case, I'll let you have the last word since I'm sure you will. Or I'll try to at least, I'm a very opinionated person.

Have a blessed day, Bestie. <3

Re 6 - people in Australia, New Zealand and Asia play in the NA server. So whose night are you talking about? Why should the rest of the world have to have extra guards because it’s night time in the US?
    Agree with number 9.

You make a valid point, perhaps extra guards are not the way to go. However, I do not think the night capping are just people from other areas of the world logging in to play. I believe there are people purposely waiting so they can take the map with no real resistance. With that being said, I see that my idea would harm those who are just playing the game without any oily schemes.
