Sooner or later, undauned rewards/pledges are certainly up for another rework. We already have more DLC than base game dungeons, yet 2 pledges for base game and only 1 for DLC. I'll be going insane if I have to run Selene's Web another time.I'd rather they just get rid of pledges and roll / rework all the rewards into the dungeon finder (they do need to better group similar time/difficulty dungeons together though as it is absurd something that can be done solo in <10 minutes by everyone has the same reward as something that takes most players in a group >30 minutes).

I used to play this other game where picking up dailies functioned in a similar way, and even had automatic quest completion once you finished the final main objective. (Although I wouldn't want to bring in automatic completion because that made it difficult to finish the optional objectives first.)

Essentially that is what I noted in my post. THey could set it up so at the daily reset time, all pledges still in a player's journal are removed.
However, that creates another issue where sometimes people will pick up pledges when it is a dungeon they like, and any characters they did not finish it on they will do it on a different day.
So a solution for one player creates a new problem for another. Considering not being able to share is not really an issue we can stay with the current design.
Yeah, makes running randoms such a hassle, because you have to pick up the pledges for that day just in case you roll into one of those dungeons. And then drop all of the quests the next day. It's just awful design.Sooner or later, undauned rewards/pledges are certainly up for another rework. We already have more DLC than base game dungeons, yet 2 pledges for base game and only 1 for DLC. Another anachronism that should just go away - they need to seriously update the base game guild lines with better instructions for new players or just have them unlocked at the start.
Having to explain to someone that has been running daily dungeons for some time that they should have gone inside an inn in a starter town to listen to the silly song to unlock the Undaunted skill line is just dumb.
Doubly so given all the chapter zones now and the fact the starter intro quest is god awful at providing any sense of direction on where to go as a new player.

I think that is just for the delve daily at low level, don’t you get the Undaunted Enclave invitation in your mail at level 45 regardless?
But I agree that it unless a new player stumbles upon the guys at the inn they don’t even know they can start leveling up that skill line much earlier than when they can run pledges.
