Is there a point to the Exploitation passive (Dark Magic)?
If it only applies to enemies under the effects of Dark Magic, and the only lasting Dark Magic effects are all control abilities, what's the point of this? It doesn't apply to anything particularly threatening (basically all trash mobs in solo play die swiftly to Lightning Form for defense+Overload heavy attack melting them down fast), since so many elites are totally immune to control.
Should I just skip this then, since there's no way to ever apply it to major enemies (e.g. bosses)? It's kind of a disappointment, since 15% crit chance is a lot.

IvoryFox✭You have enough skill points and you just need 2 for this passiv. You have Rune Prison for single target, you have Encase and Negate Magic for mass enemys. So you are telling me that this skill isn't worth it (like I said.. just 2 skill points...) because you can't apply it on boss monsters. Well that counts for all CCs what means that CCs in general are useless? :P
There are elites wich are immune but there are a loooot of elites and enemys wich aren't immune. I am veteran rank 5 and so far I didn't encounter the immune bosses as a majority.Edited by IvoryFox on May 2, 2014 6:05AM0
