How to view item stats when trading with player?

I’m using game pad mode on pc with a Xbox controller but I’m curious when trading items with a player in game how can I view the stats of the item they are trading. I tried using my mouse to hover over the item but it didn’t show what stats it was. I was trading with someone gold for a bloodthirsty necklace and couldn’t confirm if it was bloodthirsty trait or not during the trading process but luckily it was.

✭✭✭✭✭it should show a tooltip when hovering over the item in the trade window that displays the items stats
im not sure how that works with gamepad mode though as i only use mouse/keyboard in non-gamepad mode0
