occasionally harvest low level resources

The character in question is maxed out with all their crafting skills and nodes always show up as the highest level resource for their type (platinum, ruby ash etc). But once in a while I will harvest one of these nodes and get pewter or another low level resource. It's quite rare for this to happen, but I am assuming it is a bug. It's happened most recently on Betnikh and on Bleakrock isle, but I think it's also happened once or twice on Arteum, so it's not just in starting zones.

This happens, when low level players "checking" the node without looting them. At this point they have spawned material on their level.
So it's pretty common on starter zones.

Well... it's not really that common in starter zones - because bots tend to not leave the nodes once they've clicked on them...

Well... it's not really that common in starter zones - because bots tend to not leave the nodes once they've clicked on them...

It's not uncommon, because if a character (whether bot or human) clicks on a node to harvest it but already has maxed-out stacks of one or more of the node's contents (such as Heartwood and Rough Maple), and has no nore free inventory slots for starting a new stack, they won't be able to harvest everything in the node.
