BUG: Curated drops not working in Western Skyrim

I need only one of each of the three sets in Western Skyrim and I have killed a delve boss twice and got a set piece I already have both times.

It may depend on which piece you need. If you only need weapons for instance, those aren't on the delve boss loot table so it can't curate those items. They would drop from world bosses and public dungeon bosses.

What is shield considered then? One is a dagger but the others are shields.

Dropped everything in the public dungeon so I guess shield is not armor after all.

Yeah, shields are considered weapons for loot drop.

armor pieces i find actually more confusing than weapons when needing to get a specific drop

WB and public dungeon bosses both drop weapons which make those easy

"dolmen"-like activities drop jewelry

for the armor pieces, its pretty fractured amongst drop sources:

delve bosses drop boots/belts
WB drop head/chest/pants
public dungeon bosses drop shoulders/gloves
