I know, the 15% only apply to the overall baserate. Its the tooltip of Maras Wispers that says 9%/14%.

My tooltip is correct in English (1528 crit, 10%, 15%) on both of my characters who know all of Shalidor's, including one who has the vast majority of Eidetic Memory (barring bugs, some recent motifs, and a few Tales of Tribute ones as well) and one who has very little (800 or so).

I'm wondering if it's a tooltip error, possibly related to localization, especially because the crit chance is correct.

This also gave me a reason to finish up Shalidor's on an alt today. He started at 255/297 Shalidor's and just finished the 297th. At 255/297, he had a tooltip of 1298 crit chance, 8% skill lines, and 12% monster experience.

Here's how the tooltip leveled up. Books not mentioned (#257, 258, 260, 261, etc.) did not raise any part of the tooltip.

256 books raised the crit chance to 1314 (86%).
259 raised the crit chance to 1329 and the monster kill xp to 13%.
262 raised crit to 1344.
265 raised crit to 1359.
268 raised crit to 1375 and skill lines to 9%.
271 raised crit to 1390.
274 raised crit to 1405.
277 raised crit to 1421.
280 raised crit to 1436 and monster kill experience to 14%.
283 raised crit to 1451.
286 raised crit to 1466.
289 raised crit to 1482.
292 raised crit to 1497.
295 raised crit to 1512.
297 raised crit to 1528, skill lines to 10%, and monster kill xp to 15%.

At no point did I get a tooltip of 1528 crit chance but only 9% skill lines and 14% monster kill.

That makes me think this is an error in the tooltip.

Can you test your xp and skill line gains and post the results?
