They're aren't looking good at all atm but we need to wait for next Monday (Jul 25th), usually the changes of the 3rd week of PTS are the ones which tend to get to the live servers.

We don’t get the fancy doodads that PC players get to utilise for their screens.
The update as is = bad time for console.
Sooo, I’ve canned my renewal sub for eso plus.
Sure it means I gotta scrap all the stuff I’ve hoarded and no longer have a craft bag, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay for their update 35. They already got their high isle money out of me, with this little slap to the face that sees my toon go from 37k down to 22-25k…… no thanks. I’ll spend my $$ elsewhere.

The sad thing is, I doubt ZOS will back down from their "vision" a whole lot... They've dug themselves into a corner and now they can't come out. If they replace their entire idea for update 35 with a better one, they won't have enough time to fix the new issues that would arise. So they have to ship an "improved" version of this or update nothing at all (or just a small number of things). I very much doubt they would choose to scrap an entire balance update because that would make them look incompetent even if that would ironically be the most competent move they could do.

I wish they would completely revert all the dot changes and then buff spammable damage. Buffing spammable damage will reduce the number of dots you have to run, simplifying rotations and buffing damage for low APM players who just use one skill. And to not push the ceiling further, you nerf LA and HA damage while buffing things like Empower, the LA CP, Werewolf etc so that people who want to build for these things can continue to do so.
A "normal" build would then have roughly the same dps and rotation and low APM players would see a buff.
And maybe add slayer to Oakensoul because that's not going to break PvP and greatly help PvE without pushing the ceiling because people at the ceiling are already getting minor slayer through their trial gear.

And for update36, if closing the gap is really such a big deal, nerf sets like Bahsei, Coral Riptide and buff sets like False Gods Devotion, Vicious Serpent, Tzogvin's, Order's Wrath, Medusa, Mother's Sorrow and Leviathan, sets that anyone can easily take advantage of and not just players with perfect resource management. If that results in too much damage gain at the ceiling (which I honestly couldn't care less about) nerf MA destro a bit if you have to because that effect rewards the top players more than people who suck at weaving.
