The real issue with the new update is the exodus of the players I have returned from a break a few months ago and joined a new guild it was the first time since I left ps4 that I felt I was home again with great personalities and a fun experience up until these patch notes were posted there was no issue in filling trial groups mon-fri now it’s just a few days a week that seem to have people interested as other games have been in focus for the majority of the guild’s discord I’m not mad about being nerfed I’m mad all my friends are not interested anymore with the game please reevaluate these changes because if the guild leaves and disbands I will be forced to quit eso myself as I don’t have alotta time for it anymore and I refuse to restart again to me it’s the raiding with friends and joking in discord is what eso is all about and I know alotta people here on the forums and in the game feel exactly the same as I do so please take our feelings and ingame friendships into account

I wonder if those complaining, and leaving, are simply in the minority, and the millions of players who don't say a word, are okay with it? I guess it would make sense if these changes go ahead, as those complaining are potentially little fish, in a big ocean.

Not that I agree with the above, but just my rationale if the changes get greenlit.

Indeed. I just got back to this game after a post-Greymoor hiatus. First I see that High Seas is the lowest value chapter to date, and now I see this wrecking ball of an Update about to double-down on bad faith in the community.
ESO needs a PUBLIC GROUP FINDER. This feature alone would bring new life to the game.

Give us a place in game to publicly post our PUG groups and receive /tells about them.
We've been shouting in Craglorn for too long!

Do you want to bet with me about how big is this little fish? I agree, the vast majority in any game are casuals. But rhe people who is maintaining this game alive is precisely the people warning about the drawbacks of this unpdate.
This "littel fish" are the people creating content , creating builds, teaching raid groups and figurating how to make content accesible topeople who starts in the game.
Only a few days after the patch notes Some progression guilds are sleeping, some disbanded, and Claglorn is now an empty map. Because someone who demonstrate multiple times he cannot juggle with just two balls says now suddenly he wll juggle 20 balls at the same time.
This "potentially" is not a lie, but the odds are really really really Low about this affecting jut little fish. read the PTS forumd and you will realize

Most of the players that are "ok" with it probably don't even know what's happening. They don't visit the forum, reddit, youtubers or streamers. They're just happily playing oblivious to what's coming.

Others though are so demoralized they've already stopped playing. I can't blame them. Nobody likes this constant cycle of massive changes and nerfs. Anyone who says they do is whiteknighting. I've heard some dumb arguments that these constant changes are good for the game as it keeps things dynamic and exciting. Lol.

I love how people actually think this is some sort of bluf. Like wake up guys, people have already quit and the patch isn't even out yet.

I have been playing eso for a long time I started when ic dropped and I was on ps4 I left for the better playing game on pc I’m used to the nerfs so much I made a healer so I don’t have to farm the new bis dps sets every 3 months I’m an experienced player and been threw a lot with this game I’m by no means an elite player but I do enjoy vet trials and I am one of those millions of players that usually don’t post here on the forums unfortunately alotta players don’t know about this place or can’t log on to post I once was one of those players aswell as when I was on console I was new new and didn’t know about the forums for sometime and when I finally found out about them I was unable to make an account as I didn’t have the invitation when I made my pc account is when I finally was able to get my invitation code so I could post here on the forums

Word you just gonna ignore literally everything that I posted because I didn’t put a period. Well here you go. Please if you don’t have anything constructive to say for the topic at hand please try not to troll me over lack of punctuation. Some people didn’t get an A in English class

High Isle has actually brought many of my guildmates back to the game. Where is it ‘said’ it us the lowest value chapter? Anecdotally, most people I know think it the best since Elsweyr.

And about trials - you do know it is the summer for a huge majority of players? My guild have stopped any progs at the moment due to people on holiday or busy. Plan to re-start in the autumn.

Not trying to White Knight as not that happy with the incoming changes, but getting a tad tired of the incessant doom & gloom posts on here (I know you think your post is important, but you don’t *always* need to start yet another thread).

I have read and re-read the patch notes, watched streams and followed threads on here and I think the update is absolutely ridiculous.

Now actually ingame I am seeing worrying trends in guild chat. For example when somebody asks for help to farm a certain set, very quickly several people will come back with "don't waste your time, wait until update, your build will be wrecked!".

So even players who don't usually worry about what is coming are suddenly hitting the internet and researching stuff, 99% of those people come back and are very, very worried.

We advise everyone to wait for update to go live and make a judgement then BUT silently we are thinking about ZoS's proven track record of ignoring players and carrying on regardless!!

Over the years I've seen many friends leave the game for many reasons NEVER across my guilds have I seen so many people thinking about what game to play next!!

By the time the update releases it might not just be Craglorn that's dead!! 😯
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

Dude, trying to read a run on sentence in the form of a WALL OF TEXT is extremely annoying. If you want people to get your point, throw in a period at the end of each sentence (which has zero to do with your English grades, fyi).

Punctuation is now on a 20 second timer to be in line with the other DOTs.

Its buried in the patch notes.

Anecdotes don’t get us far. In my guild most think it is a waste of disc space. Only a fraction tried the card game and those who do all quest lines were like: “huh, that’s it?”.

We can compare what we like. The last poll in the forum didn’t paint a positive light on Higb Isle and considering the stupid amount if bugs remaining in that chapter, I tend to agree to the dislike.
