    Skill gap remained about the same
    same, knowing there is even a meta means you already passed a pretty high skill gap in itself to be fair.

    game got too disappointing.

    Sorry, not a clue. I don't know what is "hybrid meta" and am not aware of a "player skill gap". I'm probably too much of a casual player to follow on that poll... :/

    Hybrid meta refers to the facts that all skills since U33 (34?) now scale in strength from your highest resource (stamina or Magicka) and highest damage Stat (weapon or spell damage), regardless of what resource is used to cast them.

    Also critical% and penetration are usually given as bonuses to both weapon and spell versions effectively making them one universal stat for both stamina and Magicka builds.

    Thanks for explaining. I didn't notice anything different when I fight so my answer would be that it's about same than before. However, don't rely on me because I'm casual PvE: the fighting I do is limited and quite easy, what is probably the reason why it makes no noticeable differences in my case.
