Give auto attack option in game.

Zos, instead of nerfing or increasing LA/HA damage to better suit the newbie players... why not just give an option for auto attacks, the player can adjust it's speed by 0.5-1sec for LA.
While HA, the player needs to just hold the left click and it's speed is also adjustable by 1.2- 2 sec.
By implementing this option, we player do get a choice, on how to play our character and not be tied or forced by the system.

What about new players - why would they be any different. Although from U35 at this point it looks like they'd doi just as well holding block and spamming class skills if solo.
And note - I'm not disagreeing with you. The fact loads of people just use macros for it speaks volumes.

Don't know how you would accomplish this. The combat in game is never the same. I know of no one that has ever used a Macro in ESO in the 8 years I've been in this game and the thousands of dungeon runs I've done.
If you have an example of this please show it in a video.

I switched to PSN when it released there, but generally speaking on PC it would be a trivial matter to nab any number of the very very easy to use keystroke/macro programs and replace your skill keys with LA+skill. Might take a half hour at the dummy to figure out the best amount of delay in milliseconds or whatever. Whole thing take an hour at outside and require not a single bit of coding or knowledge of it, completely elementary.
Which of course is why it is widespread on PC, and I don’t blame them.
I mean there is a point of pride in doing it manually and knowing most people do on console, but not all that much when trying to teach it to a new raider or whatever.Edited by Riptide on July 13, 2022 1:42PMEsse quam videri.1
