Do the Devs actually remember their own comments?
I sometimes wonder if we are actively being trolled because we do this exact thing every 12 months, introduce a toxic set.
Sets across the board had their % damage modifiers changed, crit rate was reigned in, Mechanical acuity was deemed "Too Powerful" and was had it's wings clipped, The Major Minor system was reworked and reduced....
Then we recieve "Oakensoul" - The one ring to break them all, PTS feedback was given lip service but ultimately made it into the game giving such high % via bestowing 'Unobtanium' solo buffs at 100% up time such as Major Berserk and Major + minor force that can be stacked with other % buff sets like "Essence thief" or "Deadly Strike" (Not these 2 sets fault, as Oakensoul is the wildcard) leading to crazy levels of damage.
Stack on top of this it gives you Major Courage for base weapon damage in the New moon acolyte range and Major Prophecy giving a good crit rate it is no wonder it is the 1 piece of choice in EVERY build video since High Isle.
*But Wait, Theres more!*
Not only does it break the balance of the above 2 sets, it breaks the balance of Ultimates because having Major heroism 100% it can be stacked with other Ulti gen sets to turn Ultimates into "Spammables", i have seen resto ult cast every 15 seconds and I have seen Dragon knights in Perma Corrosive Armor, and the worst thing is if you want to join this gravy train you need to bore yourself to death jumping through hoops to get it, and that is only for us fortunate ones that ponied up buy the chapter.
In Elder scrolls *We* are supposed to be the hero not our jewellery.
If PVP direction is " Everyone wear the same fit" Or it is "We made this for accessability" then just give everyone a premade build when you enter Cyrodiil, change it every 6 months for Hype and leave it as that, might as well be pubg at the moment.
