This bug appears on PS EU right now. It was experienced from me and multiple other players from my guilds. It happened on PS4 and PS5-consoles.
You get randomly logged out during gameplay and after logging in again, you find yourself at a previous position ingame and every progress from there to your actual bugged-logout-spot is hard-resettet. I just had the biggest backup of about 15 Minutes (!) of gameplay. I'll upload a video from this bug later after my raid is finished.
This bug also un-does quests if you completed them during the backup-timespan, loot gets removed again from you and basically everything you did during this period.
For me its the 2nd reset during 2 days, other players reported from up to 5 resets.

✭This has always been the case when the servers crash - I guess because they roll back to the last committed stable transaction point. Playing on PTS you kind of get use to changing zone regularly as it seems to save your status. Cyrodiil is a bit more problematic. Not really a solution but if you get something good and the game is being buggy you might want to zone switch.

Avoranti✭✭✭✭✭This is happening in PS NA as well. Both consoles. You get a load screen that redirects you to character select. When you log back in your anywhere from 2-15 minutes back. I’ve lost loot, leads and time because of this. And the patch was released and there is no fix listed.1 -
Ch3mical_92✭✭✭Here is the video from my bug. I was book-hunting, so luckily I didnt miss out on important loot/stuff after the bug. The video is in x2-speed to shorten the runtime and since most of the video is only me standing around while taking notes or googling stuff about the books. The bug-logout happened at 6:56 minutes in my video as I was looking up the correct answer for that NPC. The game froze for a few seconds before kicking me back to the character-screen. After logging in, I lost about 15 minutes of gameplay.
Also I noticed that even buffs get resetted. My Zenitar event-buff was at 10 hours as I experienced the bug and after the logout it was back to 11 hrs runtime.
