Question for Toxic Barrage user...

Toxic barrage deals damage for 4 seconds and then a DoT for 8

The wording says that 1 second after dealing damage you dealing an additional x damage over 8 seconds

Does the DoT apply immediately or after the 4 second burst because the wording implies the DoT would be applied immediately after the first second of burst damage.

Wondering if anyone using the skill has the numbers?

From what I remember off hand, while you're channeling the skill the first part of the damage is being done, and only after it ends, either by being channeled all the way or by it being interrupted, will the second part of the damage begin being done.

You need to wait for the first 4 seconds being over, after that you poison the enemy which kicks in on a 1 second delay after applying it.

the poison waits for 1 second because you only have to hit the target with at least 1 projectile to get the dot

so if you hit them with the first projectile and then they dodged/LoS the rest of the skill, they would still get the dot
