it'd be nice to have more weapons but zos really seems against it unfortunately.

The thing is, this wouldn’t need to be a new weapon really. It’s simply adding a new damage type and status to an underrepresented damage type. No new weapon models required. Simply an update to Destro Staff. It would be so easy and I wager very welcome.
I like this idea. Variety is the spice of life and new motifs/skill-line wouldn't even be needed.

You could argue that Bleed is the same but most Dual Wield skills cover that.

Bleed…. Can we get Blood magic 🤔 I wouldn’t mind seeing disease get something, plague mages 😉
I think at this point they're probably only going to give us new stuff in terms of sets.
The game is pushing a decade slowly, and we still have the same amount of weapons we did at launch.
