Is there an item after the Aurelic Quasigriff mount?

I'm trying to determine if I need to start collecting the Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet fragments again or if that is a waste of tickets. I morphed my dragon pet into the quasigriff mount and already have the Soulfire Dragon pet again, but will there be something else to morph it into next?

If it follows the same pattern as the last few years, there are four "big" collectable prizes each year, one in each 'quarter' of events. If I recall correctly, the skin was the first one, the quasigriff is the second.

(last year was the Unstable Morpholith pet, which turned into a skin, a personality, a quasigriff, and a house; the years before that were a generic Indrik mount that got a different reskin/fancy version in every quarter.)

Based on the pattern established with the indriks and the unstable mopholith there will be 2 more morphs for the soulfire dragon illusion. One in Q3 (July - September) and one in Q4 (October - December).

As far as I'm aware no one knows what those are yet. I've seen some people assuming a personality and a house, because the Mopholith could be turned into a skin, a personality, a mount and a house, but I don't know if that's just a guess.

You should start collecting the fragments again as the dragon is the morph for future content, which could be a personality or home if the pattern holds. If you want to keep the dragon as a pet you will have to recollect the fragments to do so as well.

Yes. There are four quarters every year and every quarter we get a handful of events that give out event tickets. The item we can get via morphing changes every quarter and the last event of the year brings back all items from the entire year for one last time.

The first two years, we got 8 different Indriks. Last year we got a skin in Q1, a mount in Q2, personality in Q3 and a house in Q4.

This year we've gotten a skin in Q1, a mount in Q2, and we JUST started Q3 which will give out an outfit--you can see it in your fragments tab in the collections menu right now as a matter of fact. To the best of my knowledge, we don't know what the Q4 item will be.

oh, that's right. I forgot we had a skin in addition to the house last go around. so yeah, more than likely more to come. i'll buy up the pet fragments again during the event. thx for the reminder on how it worked last time.

If they follow what they've shown on PTS so far, then the next collectible will be the "Daggerfall Paladin Costume"

Ah, so I can skip the third-quarter collectable, too. More tickets to spend on other things. Or nothing.

Maybe it's the colour that doesn't do the costume any favours, but that looks very convincingly like cheap plastic molds for LARPing, instead of metal.

Blessed rubedite metal enamel. Almost like daedric armour in TESII: Daggerfall, but pinker. I'm still assuming that a house is coming, but I might use a few event tickets on the spellsword outfit, even if is a bit too plated for a lot of my PCs.

WHAT??????? I just assumed this year would be the same as last year and the next two rewards would be a personality and house. Personalities are my favorite cosmetics... I'm sad now

I already started collecting enough for the next two quarters, but I really don't care for that costume at all. I should start buying group repair kits.

If you check your fragments you should be able to see if there is another category that is related to the Soulfire Dragon.

I think the armour looks ok, but I typically use costumes as an alternative to armour, if I want my character wearing platemail I'll use an outfit (or their actual armour) so I can customise it. I already have a few costumes which look like armour sets and almost never use them, so I probably won't use this one either and will likely skip it.

I never assume they will do the same thing year to year. Plenty of opportunity to do something different; make it better, or make it worse.

The personality from last year was very minimal, and didn't even have cool idles that your character swapped through.

But the costume is pretty disappointing, IMO. I don't need something sparkly or over-the-top, it's just not that unique, thematic, or exciting to me.

I like the personality we got last year because it's relatively minimal. Most of them are way too over the top for me, they're like a caracature of what they're supposed to be, or a character from a children's play. I understand it's marketing - most of them are from the crown store and ZOS want it to be instantly obvious to anyone who sees it that you're using a personality, but while that's probably fine for other people who see it briefly in passing on my own characters it just looks silly.

But this is why it's good that they're doing more of a variety of things as event rewards, they're not going to find one reward everyone likes, so having a mix of things makes it more likely each person will like some of them. When it was all indriks either you liked indriks and were happy (at least until it got excessive) or you didn't like them and had no incentive to collect event tickets.

(Also I'm often away for several days at a time, or weeks occasionally, and don't always get to decide when that is - not that I could plan around in-game events if I wanted to with such short notice - so it's nice for me to be able to miss part or all of an event without worrying about it because I don't need all the tickets.)

Yeah, it might be the choice of dye that makes the textures look so weird, but that costume is really not looking good. Yikes. I'm typically all about outfits, but I might skip this one. I'll decide for sure after I preview it when it lands.

That costume is awful. The model, the lack of details, that pink colour, it looks like it's some unfinished thing with no texture.

All roads are leading to Quasigriffs becoming the new Indriks, which is actually kind of surprising to me. I've seen my first Quasigriff since the start of this event and I'm actually horrified by it. Despite other people liking the mount, it comes off as animal cruelty to see a gryphon with its wings clipped so we can prance around with it as a toy horse. I just can't in good conscience accept that mount for what it is.

The 4th and last item is anyone's guess, but I'm pretty sure any hopes of an island house will be crushed :) Like Bastion Sanguinaris, I suspect any such prized possession will be locked behind a $140 purchase. If it were me, I'd probably release a chivalrous personality to go with the "paladin" outfit. Buuuut, given the absolute disconnect between these event rewards and our present chapter and theme, it's totally possible the 4th reward will be something random and unrelated to anything.

They brought back the Indriks. I didn't really like them, but I have a full set on the PS4 that are now in exile.

But how can I get enough tickets (without buying them) to have even 1 Indrik (sp?) on PC?

The same way you got enough tickets to buy them before.

It's not possible to buy absolutely everything available in one quarter (or one event), but the indriks are now permanently available - the specific ones will cycle like they did before but they'll always come back, so you can save up for them gradually. Or skip buying other stuff which doesn't interest you and prioritise the indriks if that's what interests you.

I could have used these at the end of a single previous event, but now the new stuff is still sucking up all my event ticket purchases.

It's a Daedric being mimicking a gryphon. It is said that Daedra basically can't be creative on their own. They can only copy things from the mortal plane - often in a warped, contorted way. So this being doesn't have its wings clipped, it just has none.

I just started on the mount and I think I won't be able to make it to gather all the 30 tickets to morph Soulfire Dragon into the mount in this period. When the next period starts and a new morph becomes available, will the mount morph ( 3 items needed for the morph) will go away or will I be able to do it in the next quarter while the new morph is available?

The fragments for Q2 morph will not be available when the Q3 starts. However, I think that they bring back all the fragments during the Christmas event at the end of the year, so that you can buy anything that you missed
