I mean literally all you need to get a fair number of the boxes is do world events with one other player in your guild in an area that isn't so packed that you don't get enough damage in for credit (Since High Isle is heavily instanced still vents are an easy way to do this. )
I do think it will be interesting to see if the events impact on guilds as it may bring some players closer with their guilds and may cause others to quit as the find their guild is less useful than they thought.
Long term, I think they might want to consider some more diminishing returns. Make say the first 50 boxes awesome the next 50 pretty good and then move on to the boxes being okay. Part of the reasons the boxes can't be that good now is that some people have done 500+ already
That's right, normal writs only give one per day per account. However, master writs give boxes for each. That's the way people farm hundreds. WBs in less busy zones work well too, if you didn't get a box the second time there were probably too many people around doing more damage than you.Crimsonwolf666 wrote: »chessalavakia_ESO wrote: »I'd say it's less a niche event and more a showcase of just how non-social the game is for some of us.

Okay I have been hearing about people getting hundreds of boxes in 1 day....how??? Even when grouped the one time with a guildmate, when we killed another WB, I didn't get another box. Also the crafting dailies only give me 1 box despite I can do 70+ of them....Am I bugged???

I wouldn't normally say anything but for the fact that you'd either need a really active guild (and play during peak hours) or very-expensive-to-fulfil master writs to get these boxes.
This feels like the event is targeting a niche crowd of very social guild members, or a niche crowd of extremely dedicated crafters.
I think we need higher rates of companion gear and furnishing plan drops to make the effort and cost of doing master writs worthwhile for the rest of us.

But a part of the event is for even a player that started just five minutes ago with eso. The golden boxes can be achieved very easily as well as the event tickets, by literally every player.
And the other boxes one can get via very different activities.
And a very easy solution: If you are not in a guild, found your own, invite exactly one other player that has the same status of not wanting to be in a guild but wants to do world bosses or sth. and after that they leave your guild again. Just another variety of random group finding. Done. Perhaps you even find a friend that way.

Why treat it as a nuisance and not as a challenge to be motivated to explore aspects of the game one has not before?
If you don't focus on a single event but see the whole range of them its very nice that its not always the same. That would be very boring.
Considering how many rewards boxes are generated each every day - placing anything really valuable will ruin the market.
What we shall see without doubts is the serious influx of blue recipes (provisioning ones drop is excessive numbers).
It is quite easy to get 30-50 or more boxes per day, multiply that by the number of online players..
I would also like to get anything good, but these goods shall inflate drastically.
