    Thanks for the info!
Though, just to be fair, I didn't actually think that Rankin/Bass did concept art for ESO, since they closed their doors in the late '80s; it just looks very similar to their style.

I didn't assume that, just wanted to name the artist, for those who are interested :) It's not a concept from ESO, by the way, but the original guar design for TES3 Morrowind.

First of all, HOW DARE YOU sir! How... Dare... You...

The two best mount options in the game are senche (not the raht variety) and guar/khagooti.

If we are going to get rid of mounts, camels should go first, and maybe bears.

They already got rid of camels in the crown crates. I found that disagreeable, as they're some of my favorite mounts because of how funny they look, how funnier I look riding them and the fact that they'll spit when you hit the jump key while still. For example, the lizard-camel spits hist, the skeletal one lets out some sort of reddish miasma and the Anka-ra barfs sand. It's a great way to show your friends you like them! Besides, I have it on good authority that camels are the smartest creatures alive and they're capable of performing complex mathematical operations while idly ruminating (I wonder if anyone's going to get the reference).

Was it Terry Pratchetts "Pyramids"? 🤣
Probably, don't have the books here but it was an Pratchetts book, not 100% sure who.

Mounts should have remained horse only. Everything else should have been pets.

Agree, apart from camels. And guars. And dwarven spiders.

Would you like guar better if they looked the way they did in concept art - with horns and 4 legs? ;)

Oh dear, they look like Bakshi orcs.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdXQJS3Yv0Y

Gah! That's not Bakshi, that's Rankin & Bass.

And that concept art DOES look like Rankin & Bass-style animation.

Incorrect. Rankin & Bass did "The Hobbit." Bakshi did "The Lord of the Rings."

Bakshi did a version of "The Lord of the Rings," yes.

Rankin/Bass did both "The Hobbit" and "The Return of the King."

And that orc up there is from one of the Rankin/Bass programs; a totally different style of animation than Bakshi.
Anyone who is familiar with both would know the difference instantly.

I have a few of them. They are ok for Dunmer use but I don't see the point to having a "guar-version" of every type of mount.

Being able to gift collectibles to other players would be so awesome.

At the very least, we need a favorites collections.
        Especially for outfits.

I have a huge collection of mounts, especially equines, but I only use 2: Imperial Horse, and Imperial War Horse (and the white-gold horse for my companions), and maybe until the devs finally release an imperial 2-seated mount horse, and considering we can't add mounts to our shortcut wheel anymore, we definitely need a favorites menu.

I also only use one outfit out of all the collected ones, and it starts with an R.

Sure, and then there will be heartbroken people world over. Guars are NOT my cup of tea, but they’re admittedly adorable as anything.
Now, if they’d modify coldharbours favourite to grant a permanent combat pet guar (instead of yeeting them kamikaze style, which is also funny) that would change modes from damage to heals and run about being adorable, I’d totally run it.
I’m going to run it anyway as it’s funny and I’ve seen the exploding guar pop for 30k 😂

What kind of brute could dislike so adorable a creature as this?

        jnvvw64sir4e.jpg

I wouldn't trade my white guar for anything, because it's such a perfect fit for my dunmer character. The guar have nice jump animations, too, and the way they amble along when running always makes me smile.

More generally speaking, however, OP does have a point. There should be some mechanism to trade/gift unwanted collectibles. I for instance have a whole repertoire of pets I never use, and would trade most of them for hats or costumes if that was possible. The mechanics of that could be a bit complicated to make, sure, but that can't be an insurmountable problem.

At the very least we should be able to mark collectibles as favourites and sort them by that. It's always a bit annoying to scroll down a big list just to find that one favourite costume.
