The ultimate "Hide Shoulders" plea

Zenimax Online Studios. Please.

I am aware that there are dozens of threads of this kind, and I am aware that many people may have requested more than "Hide Shoulders" when it comes to the outfit system, but I am hoping that this thread will be long-lasting and that it may finally serve a purpose, if it is kept alive and full of ideas.
Zenimax Online Studios, we love your game, we appreciate all the hard work put into it, and the content shipped for it; we understand that the game is currently undergoing a lot of back-end changes, a lot of technical improvements that require attention and time, but we would at least love to know if the option "hide shoulders" - or any other outift piece - has been taken into consideration, if it's ever going to be live one day. We know this option has been created and it was shown in the past, but nothing was ever said about it. We would at least like to know something, if that's possible.
I may have used "we" a lot in this post, but - forgive me if I'm wrong - I may be speaking on behalf of a huge amount of people who have been wondering about the status of this function.

Petitions aren't allowed on the forums, you might want to change that title.

That being said They know it's a player request but havent been able to add the option to hide to the game yet.

I heard files were found for it(maybe i heard wrong) months ago, so They at least tested already.

Thank you for the heads up! Edited the title accordingly.

Well then we might change the topic into feedback: lots of shoulder pieces clip or don't fit with the outfit people want to create. My sugestion was to add some kind of armband that would go under 99% chestpieces, or an invisible shoulder pad.

As a feature request, I would add more options to configure the outfits, such as removing/changing certain parts, like tassets.

This one presents you the next new event: Dibella’s Delight!

Instead of using tickets to buy motifs and style pages, you use tickets to hide each armour. Ten tickets per armour piece.

Players who manage to hide all their armour get the achievement “Naked as Newborn”.

Okay that’s a bit of silliness but ZOS you get the idea - we are desperate to hide shoulders and please also get rid of hip flaps.

    Yes, as option.

Don’t know why the reluctance from ZOS - this is an often repeated request.

Oh well, it’s Dibellas Delight Festival then

As we found it out in game files patches ago I'd be just concerned why it was scrapped or not implemented still, it was asked so much to just stop in some point. Making a reference to "hide tasset" and some other hide one I don't remember, probably some other optional armour pads.

Again, an easy compromise on this request is add ONE SINGULAR style page for shoulders that's invisible. We don't need mass changes to the outfit system, or an introduction of a scrapped idea when there is an easier implementation.

Make it a quest, put it in the crown store, whatever. It can be lore friendly with flavor text.
Percius Loche collaborated with the Mage's Guild to create "The Emperor's New Clothes".
Or he had a manufacturing incident regarding a misplaced invisibility spell & innocent bolts of cloth, but made the clothes anyway; it was inexplicably popular among the citizens (players) that he continues to sell the style.

Or heck, just use whatever Magicka the Druids in High Isle are using to have totally invisible chests. Easy peasy.

Yeah, I would also be in favor for a style where the shoulders are invisible.
They have been experimenting with invisible equipment a bit lately. First with the "Gloambound arm pack" which would turn invisible when sheathed, and now with the High Rock Spellsword chest piece where sheathed two-handed weapons or staves are invisible. I think we may be onto something. I would definitely be all for an invisible shoulder piece but it would be even better and cleaner to update the outfit system.

    EDIT: typos
