1. There's 1 Vent active per Instance so of course players will converge on that site
2. High Isle has gone quiet pretty fast and didn't galvanize as much hype as people would've thought
3. Once everyone finished the bosses & got what they wanted people just went back to what they were doing prior to chapter release
NA-PC, the Deadlands bosses are still hoppin' despite High Isle, partially because they just recently released the motifs that go with the dailies. I also think they might have leads? I'm not sure about that part since I didn't keep track.
as for rewards for farming a boss over and over, yeah there's nothing really too compelling for that anymore.

there is not a huge amount of reason to farm the bosses because of item curation its very easy to fully collect all items in the zone now (i had 80% of the gear collected in the zone after finishing all the quests, got the rest through doing the WB dailies)

Yeah they hit the sweet spot with adjustable geysers. Not sure why they abandoned that concept.
yea that was awesome. if your dps was super low it would just spawn you a beefy yaghra instead of a full blown boss. i thought this scaling was pretty clever
