Using DLC soundtracks in other zones

I'm curious about people's opinions on this.

Would you like for DLC soundtracks to be also used in appropriate zones alongside their pre-existing music? For example, Auridon would use a mixture of base game and Summerset music, the Gold Coast using the Blackwood music, Dunmer zones (Bal Foyen, Stonefalls, Deshann) using the Vvardenfell music, Breton zones (Glenumbra, Stormhaven, Rivenspire, and Bangkorai) using High Isle music, and so on.

That would make too much of it sound the same.

I'm pretty sure I hear the Wrothgar music and Morrowind music everywhere. Is this not already a thing. Or is it in my head?

They already do this, actually. Many of the Orsinium and Craglorn tracks play in Valenwood zones, and Auridon received some new tracks and music stingers before and after the release of Summserset.

And they do it in reverse, too. Vateshran Hollows and Coral Aerie uses some music originally made for Ruins of Mazzatun.

Every zone has its specific atmosphere in terms of visual design and music and I'd prefer if it's kept that way. If the developers use 1 or 2 tracks in more than one single region, it's okay, but randomly mixing everything, even if it's only within several zones of one country, would destroy their individuality, and that'd really be a pity.

Can't vote: I don't care. Can be either or, it will have no impact for me as I play with ESO sound off. And yes, some do that... o:)
