Mine was pretty good for everything, the crab took the longest but only about a half dozen times before I got it. The lockbox was lucky for me, it was the first one I picked, but if it makes anyone feel better I still don't have the kilt or fete ring b/c I have yet to get the drops in DSA or Mazz after this long.

What's weird though is I haven't gotten another drop from vents and I'm up to about 30 now, I figured I'd at least have seen that piece drop again since I cleared them all when I first assembled the ring.

Pretty funny in my case: I don't hunt that ring so I never cared checking about what is related to it. Though, I already got 3 leads by "accident", simply because dropping from what I was doing, that had nothing to do with chasing that ring. Typical example: I was in Murkmire to pick up a treasure map (the only thing that makes me go to that area) and stumbled upon a strongbox that I opened of course... :D
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I postponed to farm this mythic item as i heard people saying it is new Shadowfen from last year. When they changed the lead drop chance with the last patch i started farming it. Right after servers come up i logged in and get the lead from Murkmire on my first try. Other parts were fine as well did not take much. Maybe half an hour at maximum for each lead.

I have three of the leads by now, but I wonder what has gone wrong with volcanic vents until now. I did one or several every single day since the chapter was released, but almost three weeks later that lead still hasn't dropped. (And I haven't gone to Stormhaven yet, so we'll see how the crab goes.)

Nodes and Malabol Tor were like 10 mins each.

Vents took about 15, but I was doing dailies anyway for new motifs to sell, so no big deal.

Crab took about 6 or 7 kills. Got a drop every time.

The safebox was about an hour. I tried for about 40 minutes during prime time and it was horrendous. Luckily, I'm in UK and playing on NA server at the moment, so had a sneaky break from work the next morning at like 11am and it was quiet, got it in like 4 tries.

I picked it up a few days ago for novelty's sake, just because I heard everyone talking about how OP it was haha. But I am not super interested in one bar builds.

I took me slightly less than an hour in total. I already had one of the leads from High Isle, from the volcanic vents I think.
The node drop in Glenumbra took me the longest, but that was mainly because I got lost in some valley with only one way out, and I have no sense of direction whatsoever. :D

The whole Oakensoul debacle reminded me why I will never ever farm anything right away when everyone is doing it, just wait a bit and spare yourself the pain man.

Can’t wait for ZoS to start putting leads in loot boxes

They do that, I'm done, regardless of what the lead is.

I'm not even 100% hardcore obsessed with getting leads (I still don't have any mythicals yet at all), but that would be too much.

I tried on the first couple of days for 1-2 hours each, and absolutely raged at the design, at the state of the zone chat, at how people would just loot the chest immediately, because I play with high ping and I'm always the last to be able to open the chest, so at most respawns I didn't even have the time too check the chest, let alone be the one to open it first. Then I gave it a rest for a week in the interest of not getting a high blood pressure, and came back found an empty spot and got it on the first opening  It wasn't the most awful lead because I made the conscious decision not to farm it right away, the Mora's leads took me an obscene amount of time in contrast.

    for me it was:

Malabal Tor: i killed about 8 elves near the shore.

Glenumbra: first lead i got on release day...and did not know about the ring yet...so, did not notice how long it took. just regular play. this was how i found out about the ring...i had to look up and see what the lead was i just received.

High Isle Vents: took about 6 vents

Murkmire: first lock box in small village.

    Stormhaven: took four kills.

Took me close to 60 vents before that lead finally dropped. That was by far the worst one. Got the lockbox on my second try. The others were as expected: not too quick, but not overly stupid.

I got all five leads within the first week. The hardest one was the strongbox, though it dropped on the third box I picked. The hard part was hitting the box at the right moment to pick it. Probably missed on 10-12 boxes for every one I picked.

I play on Xbox NA. So after months of joking about the card game, and repeatedly stating that there was no way any of us would consider buying the update owing to there being nothing of interest to us included - everyone I play with in game purchased the update together within about an hour of learning about this new mythic!

I opted to save the Murkmire and Glenumbra leads for last since they seemed to be the most time consuming, and I ended up having excellent RNG on the other three, all of which dropped on the first try. So about 15 minutes later, I was in Glenumbra. I had looked at a guide on Youtube that suggested heading to the rocky area in North of the zone where there would be more nodes, but there were a lot of other players there farming. After maybe 20 minutes of trying and getting very few nodes, I went to the Southern tip of the zone and got the lead after maybe 15 minutes of farming the nodes in that area basically alone. Then on to Murkmire...

Easily the lamest experience I've had on ESO. It probably only took me ~4 hours in total. A dozen players were camping every lock box, and the zone chat is very toxic. Lot of confusion over whether you actually have to pick the lock to get the lead as well. In the end, I camped one in Alten late at night so there was only around 4-5 other players total. This box seemed to spawn consistently every 5 minutes. I changed my button layout to one where "A" on the controller would open the box, and I wouldn't jump. Then every 5 minutes I would spam "A" until the box spawned. Doing this I got to pick maybe every other one myself. In the end, I got the lead to drop on the 5th box that I opened myself.

I'm pretty happy to have the experience of spending hours in a ball of other players camping a box in the most toxic chat I've experienced on ESO behind me. I'm very pleased with mythic though, personally - lots of shenanigans afoot with the new builds it has enabled. The new zone seems really well done too, and I'm planning to spend some more time there. Also, I actually purchased crown crates for the first time in forever, and I got my first ever radiant apex mount to drop as well - that glowing green bear that you can see from the next zone over!
