Kicked to character select during matches?

On two separate occasions now I’ve been kicked to character select while in the middle of a ranked Tales of Tribute match. It counts this as a loss for me. Just so happens during those matches I was setup for Victory as well which makes it feel even worse.
Is this a known issue?
Is there something I can do to avoid having this happen?

✭✭✭I've had this happen only when I've been playing multiple games against the same NPC. It doesn't say "disconnected for inactivity", but it sorta feels like it due to my character not moving at all between games.PC-NA
