HDR Peak vs Scene

Sorry for the lame Q, but is the difference between these two settings is that Peak is the brightest your game will ever be where as Scene is the actual game brightness? Or am I totally misinterpreting it? (Not an HDR geek so pls explain it to me like I'm 5 lol)

✭✭✭✭✭Like you I am overwhelmed by the number of sliders they gave us on console, so atypical, lol!
I believe that is correct but I believe there is something funny about the UI versus the scene content.
I can adjust the sliders to make the scene look good but unfortunately the UI brightness is too much. I think more work needs to be done there.

✭Yeah, I lowered the UI brightness to the bottom of the scale and it's still a tad too bright - which is very obvious when going from the game to the map.
That said, I can't figure out the actual diff between Peak vs Scene as they both seem to adjust the same kind of brightness lol. May need to do some HDR research on YT to figure this out lol2
