Add new morphs to Skills instead of Spell Crafting [Necromancer WIP Version]

I always wanted Spell Crafting but I realized that it will never happen due to balance issues unless Dual Class becomes a thing.

I want to focus on the Necromancer since I love the class but......only has a few skills that attack others thats not an area effect.

2 new summonable skills for Skeleton skill

9zl3tokbg9dr.png A Ghost that hurls ghostly fire at foes. A neat effect would be able to summon 2 ghosts which does less damage but each attack heals you.


3rd skill for Death Scythe

slowly sap a targets life that is infront of you, gaining a minor buff while you are close to the target and gain health.


2nd Morph for Graveyard

l3bbjoct0x0w.png Select a location to cause sharp bone spikes to burst out of the ground. Slows targets and inflicts damage.



2nd morph for Flesh Colossus

Release tortured souls from the ground to inflict frost damage and slowly drain Magicka.

    More class skills or morphs or class based morphs for weapons would be sorely welcome.

    There's no evidence that Spellcrafting will never happen. Matt has explicitly said on several occasions that while its "on the backburner", they haven't scrapped the idea.

    Not to mention there are SO many ideas - greater or slammer - that could be implemented.

    Eg. sub-trees in CP 2.0 Craft

    Lot of ideas actually, They could use special moves that NPC's or Dungeon bosses use like the Mad Architect's Undead Legion that summons ghosts out of the ground.

    Yeah, at the beginning of the year, off the back of the HI announce, he did an interview with a French reporter.

    Well if thats the case I would be happy either way.

    I just want more spells or morphs on classes since gets boring over time using same stuff.

    I'd like to see not only more morphs but the ability to slot more than one morph of the same skill. For example, I'd be happy to consider slotting both morphs of orbs and both morphs of the templar's jabs.

    Would be great to be able to invest in both morphs and then load which is best for a situation. Like MxO did. Then you could really build your character for the environment how you wanted.

    I had an idea back in 2018 about weapon skills getting unique morphs based on the class that unlocks them. Even then, they would be split between stamina and magicka based skills... a few people seemed for it but consider how weapon and spell damage are pretty much interchangeable now. Not sure how that holds up now.

    I don't think you understand just how big of an undertaking and balance nightmare this is for zenimax. Spell crafting is far fetched, but this is way way way harder.
