(1 item) While equipped, you gain an extra bar a utility bar and

Minor Cowardice: Reduces Weapon and Spell Damage by 215
Minor Defile: Reduces healing taken by 8%
Minor Vulnerability: Increase damage taken by 5%

[Edit: Optionally, this could be an extra slot per bar instead of a separate utility bar. 6 Slots + Ultimate per bar]

The idea is to provide more slots for players while penalizing damage, healing, and mitigation.

I would use this on multiple builds for healing and dps. Especially PvP.

    how would you equip a 3rd weapon though? and the current bar swap is a "toggle" as in it only switches between 2 options

    the only way i knew you could have a pseudo 3rd bar was with sorc overload (dont know if that has been fixed/changed though)

    as i see it the current UI is not really set up for this

    i would much rather zos focus on giving us more variety of companion gear (such as simple sets with set bonuses instead of "everything is the same but the trait" boring)

    What if the 3rd bar didn't use a weapon? You could slot Class abilities, Assault/Support tree, Psijic, etc.

    In this case, the best use of 3rd bar would be for utility. You lose out on a 5 piece bonus for 3rd bar but that's fine with me.

    like im not really seeing a way you would access that without adding some extra keybind to pull up that bar, and even then there wouldnt be a weapon attached to that bar so you wouldnt be gaining any dmg or benefits from a weapon

    using the normal swap, you could say maybe hit it a 3rd time but that still doesnt solve the problem of your 3rd bar basically being "unarmed" and then the "swap" would be more of a rotation, so you would go bar 1->bar 2->bar 3->bar 1->bar 2 (you would need 2 swaps to move from bar 3 to bar 2 effectively, again unless you added some extra keybind or handling method)

    Extra keybind could work. Swap to Utility bar. Also it would be more than Class abilities. You can slot any ability. You just won't have a weapon equipped when that slot is active. (e.g. no 5 piece bonus)

    The funny part is that the ability to make this work is (or at least was) in the game code, Sorcerers used to have access to a third "Overload" bar.

    That would be good too. Luosnekoa Ring = 2 bars, 6 slots + Ultimate on each bar

    I also loved City of Heroes and have the original comics in my collection.

    I think it'd be better for the penalties to be raw stats instead of debuffs so that the penalties could stack rather than cancel one another out.

    For example, if I'm a Bow Warden I could technically get all of those effects on you at once.

    Personally, I think the item would be more interesting if it allowed another weapon so you could go full Breton Hero. If you are just adding extra slots you'd likely be ending up in a position where it's more of an upgrade or downgrade rather than an alternative option.



    You'd possibly need a larger downside than that to balance the additions out depending on how much you are adding ability wise.

    It could work like old Overload. Replaces your ultimate with one that does something and then puts you on your 3rd bar, copying the stats from the bar you used it on and requiring an ult reactivation to switch off your 3rd bar. Mechanically ZOS already has a system in place for letting you swap skills on your third bar, but there might be conflicts if your character is currently a werewolf.
    Still, not a bad idea but the negative debuffs are a bit overkill considering you do not have any benefit from getting to slot so many additional skills with no extra time to cast them in your rotation. Unless you are a Sorc for the extra utility I suppose (and for having been designed with a 3rd bar in mind).
    This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

    this could be neat but the thing is so many skills now are designed around a 2 bar rotation, in the end even with 3 bars none of the skills on the third bar would see much use because there just isn't enough time in a rotation to be able to maintain so many buffs and timers

    Remember that you need to be able to access all of the skill options using a console controller. Which is a reason skills are limited.

    A mythic that would let you wear an extra mythic would be cool!

    Could even make it where if you choose to do so, it negates the second mythic (reverses it's effects). You know, for those that want to make the game harder.

    To be honest I wouldn't know what to do with a third bar. I find two to be just fine.

    Who is exactly how sorcerer overload worked, using an weapon skill would turn it off who actually was handy.
    Even smarter overload was an ultimate.

    Now I don't think its worth an mystic unless its has more buffs but it had been for for an skill line.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
