CGI trailers armors in the game

This famous subject... That of having the armors of the CGI trailers in the game. With the release of the High Isle CGI trailer, I updated my comparisons.

As you can see, all the armor appearing in the CGI trailers from Morrowind are almost all adapted in game. They are in their entirety from Elsweyr.

Dreaming is always allowed. Who knows if we'll get the Dunmer, Argonian, and Nord armor (notice the Nord cuirass is Nord Hero cuirass-like) from the early trailers when the respective regions get an expansion or DLC.

Note also that the bosmer armor is equipped with built-in claws if my memory is correct. The visual of the Bosmer warriors can be seen on ArtStation.

As for the legionnaires, with a little luck we will have them with Colovia. The demand is strong and almost materialized when the Imperial Ancestral style was mentioned in the official forum for the first time. At least the interest in it was brought to light. Heavy armor is quite different from Imperial or Hexos heavy armor. As for the medium armor, it is radically different and has no equivalent.

Isn't the Daggerfall Covenant Wood Elf and Imperial Legion Heavy armour just heavy wood elf and imperial? Like they look almost identical. Same with the High Elf armour looks to be one of the high elf ones. I've seen those pauldrons before.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

After verification, it's not Divine Prosecution.

None of these armors match. Grossly maybe.

I had found the full bosmer armor skin on ArtStation. And it doesn't match the in-game armor. Well... The CGI armor is equipped with claws that are impossible to include even in-game.

Legion Heavy armor and Imperial Style Heavy 4 do not match.

There is a mannimarco costume you achieving a certain CP level.
And so, Akatosh revealed himself to a young Gaben, and granted him purpose.
"Grant them Steam sales," he commanded.
    And obey, he did.

It's true. But the costume is very different than the CGI style. I should on the other hand check if the Grim Harvester costume is similar.

Lot of those "no equivalent" actually have one, some of them are just variations as when concepts are drawn they're probably going to the implementation team and CGI studio when both changing small things to fit the game or a video having different needs and styles.

I do not think so. There is a gap between recent and old CGI armors in their adaptation in game.

Many players simply and logically refuse to recognize that an in-game style is an adaptation of the CGI one if it doesn't share any characteristics.
Just because the costume is "Mannimarco costume" doesn't necessarily reflect the armor worn in CGI. There is therefore no equivalent.

For my part, the imperial style is the one that I evoke the most. Because there is simply no equivalent.
We are not aware of light armor. The medium armor, which I greatly appreciate, has absolutely no equivalent. As for heavy... I'm glad to hear from Imperial players that Imperial Style 4 has nothing to do with it. TES L distinguishes between the two styles.
Many criticize the Imperial style (and Hexos) for the lack of discretion with the diamonds (or imitation) on the different parts of the armor.
But that is something else. The remake is Hexos, so hopefully an Imperial Legion style.

For the costumes of the heroes, I could say that it is not exactly the same thing. But I quibble for nothing. The costumes is well represented but we must especially take into account one thing: the costumes were made early in the development of the game. The discrepancies are minimal. Just like the engraving on the cuirass of Dragon Guard style.

What pushed me to do this subject is the multitude of styles very close if not similar to the CGI versions for a few years.
And that it's normal to have expectations for the variety of CGI armor seen at first.

That of the legionnaires makes a lot of talk. Many were thinking of "Ancestral Imperial" and were impatient... Then we had Hexos. The ancestral styles being remakes of the original styles, it made sense.
I haven't seen enthusiasm for other styles although this topic is also trying to reach out to other races.

I found Bosmer's visual. By James ***. It seemed to me that claws were integrated. Well, that's just a detail.

Greatest offender are Blackwood Trailers & Blackwood menu & loading screen arts & even some official wallpapers that clearly shows an Argonian wearing a Leather tail armour.

We got trolled by ZOS so hard by this. They did not deliver what they teased.

For the Breton hero, you can make a look with the outfitter that is wayyy closer to the CGI trailer than the actual costume. B)
I first saw it on mmo fashion or such years ago, and now with all the new sets that have been released you can probably make an even better interpretation.
