PC players, how is DK sustain this patch?

In both PvE (both content and dummy parse) and PvP, compared to before, how bad is it? Did you have to make adjustments to sustain now?

Also I'm considering maybe starting pvp on my DK soon, but the new patch hits in a week on console, so should I start then? Or do I not bother at all? If you need to know, I like BGs most, so without CP there, sustain is even worse

    My experience from a lot of battlegrounds this past week is that DKs are still very much top dog in nocp pvp. If they were affected at all by the nerf, I certainly haven’t noticed. They still hit harder than any other class, and I feel like they’ve actually gotten more survivable!

    It's a noticeable difference in 4 man PvE, sustain is worse. It's totally manageable, especially with good group support, but without, like in solo content, you'll have to adapt.

    In trials we were over sustaining before so that's not a problem right now I'd say.

    DK is still op, just compare to sorc its "balanced" cause now everything < sorc. So u can faceroll everything but broken sorcs and anyone not even call u metaslave!)

    DK sustain this patch:

    Solo arena, 4 group content without or with few synergy - very bad

    Trials, 4 group content with synergy - it is good and serve well to use of bashei mania
    PvP - Recruit.
    PvE - Dragon food
    RPG - A guy who thought, that he can defeat daedric prince, yet guards still chase him off when he accidentally touches some object during daily writs.

    We went from 7 DK dps to 1 DK dps wearing Zen/Alkosh in Trials so that says a lot.

    when i was running my mag dk through some stuff i definitely noticed significantly worse sustain, almost enough that i was considering changing my jewelry to be the cost reduction (to remove cost of ash cloud) or changing another enchant to increase recovery

    this was running solo, i was having some sustain issues before the update, but nowhere near this bad

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    It's definitely worse, but the class is still playable. I definitely have been using Battle Roar more often, drink potions, and trying to catch all the synergies though. Kinda like how I got in the habit of doing back before the DK rework.

    Although my experience on sustain is always skewed and slanted since I use Blood for Blood as a spammable. So a massive amount of the magicka I'd use traditionally in a spammable instead costs health.

    Its not enough it seems as there is still 1 dk left XD
