The game has Improved Drastically

From just after launch when i bought the game. The quality of play, bugs, spammers, etc have diminished substantially. I think ZOS is getting there. I'm excited about how this game has improved.

The fixes in the PTS patch notes do indicate that they've been pretty busy.
Side effects of reading messages on forums can cause nausea, head aches, spontaneous fits of rage, urination due to intense laughter, and sometimes the death of your monitor or other object in throwing range. Inevitably they will be improving their systems to deal with all these issues, and I'm sure they will continue to do so. However, whether the game has improved since launch depends on the individual experience really. From their point of view, it will hopefully have done so for the majority of their customers.

still have a long way to go, i just hope people give them the chance to see it through. balancing needs to be addressed, other than that, i just wish they would communicate more on such matters instead of focusing on lithographs -_-

To be fair, I don't think the people who are responsible for fixing the bugs are the same who are making lithographs.

a video/article about the actual work going into this, showing that the devs are as invested as we the players are would go a long way. I want this to succeed, im sure they do too. although for different reasons lol.

Finally some positive posts. These forums are getting depressing.

thats the reason for this thread. bashing ZOS and the dev team does help fix issues.

there's a difference between "hey dev team there's an issue with X in Y area. please take a look."

    and

"WTF this game is awful. peace i'm leaving and i'm posting in the forum about it because i'm an attention seeking melodramatic troll. Don't care if the game improves or not i just want to anonymously rage in forums."

show me any electronics software that launches 100% bug free....

Those of us playing the game on PC are doing a wonderful job of beta testing this game for the console players. They are going to love this game given that there are still two more months of fixes coming for them and they won't have to confront bots, either.

lol, so true. These people love to criticize because it's the only way they feel important. It's far easier to tear apart somebody else's creative work than it is to create your own. It makes them feel powerful.

Mind you, I do miss the days before internet updates, and a product had to be done right the first time. But still, overall I think ESO is in pretty good shape. And the dev team certainly is actively fixing things.

The important thing is that I'm having a lot of fun playing this game! And in the end that's what really matters.

I and my friends are loving the game atm and I'm loving it so much that even the bots and gold-spammers couldn't ruin it for me!

I've felt so angry at some of the negative reviews I've read because they obviously haven't given the game the time and attention it needs. There was one from a well known magazine that had pages and pages of comments criticizing the reviewer because he had obviously played the game for a few hours and then slagged off everything about the game.

I hope (and know) ZOS will get all the bugs, bots and gold spammers sorted soon, I'm already seeing a reduction in them all and the game is better for it.

I'm also enjoying the PvP (just trying to make it to 50 now)and if it wasn't for some exploits which probably need a wee look at... all is good!

It's definitely a game that feels like an old-school MMO - maybe even generic- until you get more intimate knowledge of where it "hides the fun" if you will; which is hilarious as an unintended consequence because that's sort of how all TES games have been.

@dietlime - love the "hides the fun" part. I was roaming around Shadowfen last night just exploring the nooks and crannies and trying to remember where the thing that looked like the picture on a treasure map was. Found interesting lays of the land I forgot from my testing days, found lore books all over the place with some in areas I had run close to. Found some chests and other fun things, too, in the process. Didn't bother googling anything to find it, though a guildie gave me a hint on my treasure map. ::chuckles::

I'm enjoying this game and having also been a long time tester, I've seen some amazing things come out of this game and know they are still working on it. They really do read all the feedback and bug reports we do. Sure some things won't get changed to how some want, but they will make the game better while sticking to their plan for the game at the same time.

I've even had great experiences with their customer service, though I also had to give them some constructive feedback on one trend that would get them into trouble. I've had some really crazy issues and one of them had a GM with me in the game for 45 minutes and funny thing is he decided to break something and it fixed it. At least, lots of data for QA was dug up and maybe they can figure out why it happened, but I know it was one of those very rare issues, too. Even so they really try to figure things out.

Have patience with the whole company as there are some growing pains in some departments, like the CS and QA, now that they had to expand for a live game rather than a game still in the testing. I'll be sticking around for some time because I am enjoying the game. Even when I have to fight with my inventory. =)
