PVP Access Question

Please don't bash but I can't seem to get a straight answer about this. I am level 14 and received my "Let's go PVP" email asking me to pick an area to pvp. The email is good for 30 days. I am not really ready for PVP just yet. If I don't pick an area and the email expires, does that mean I cannot access PVP areas? I thought I could access Cyrodiil anytime after I met the level requirements. Thanks for any information.

sbyrn9cub18_ESOSoul ShrivenAs far as I can tell mail from the system does not expire. Some of the mail I got on the first day still says it has 30 days left on it.
As for PvP selection you don't need the mail to set your campaign.1
